I really enjoyed this,

starts like it's going to be a summer camp slasher, but already different as the kids are not 30 year old actors pretending to be 17 year olds, its 13 year olds pretending to be 13 year olds...

the twist was good, and explains a lot, obviously it also raises a lot of plot holes but think it was solid enough.

The last minute or two was great, and could have been made more of but like the sudden impact of it.

Overall was really enjoyable, there is very little gore / deaths if your expecting that from a summer camp slasher your might be disappointed.

It was different and i love that, yeah was very rough round the edges and with a bigger budget obviously could have been better but think everything was good enough, the acting was good as always a risk when you have to use so many young kids in a horror movie, which i guess is why it's normally done by 30 year olds pretending to be in high school.

Not read the books, but as a stand alone movie it's really fun to watch,

theres a clown, theres a cornfield, and thers lots of blood and people dying and it's very fun to watch,

the comedy it well done, no bad performances acting wise its all nicely played out.

Def for fans of slasher comedies not sure if it has too much appeal past that.

Can tell it's come from a book as there are lots of interesting characters that are never fully explored in the 90 of mins of the movie which could easily have gone on longer.

A very fun watch, just don't try and make to much sense out of the explanation at the end as there isn't any.

First the bad..

some of the story was just stupid, the vampires were sometimes just pathetic, which was a real shame as other times they were great, the full on fight scene with them all was badly done and had no tension in it at all which was a real shame.

A lot of decisions were just really bad... like they acknowledge one way to kill a vampire is to put a steak in the heart, and the very next scene they are carrying a body thats about to turn into a vampire outside putting themselves at risk instead of doing exactly that.

They were really lucky the vampires were stupid, badly done, and inconsistent.

But the good...

everything was just great to watch, the set up, the acting, obviously the music is where the biggest risks were taken and i think in the most part plaid off and just made the whole movie flow and give a feel that is different.

Good well outweighs the bad and def worth watching, a different take on from dusk till down and enjoyable.
