The music and the performances of the main characters are very good. Whilst it was entertaining and thought provoking I would have liked a bit more of an introduction to the members of the wailers. They were very much in the background and I we didn't really get to see Bob's relationship with the band members.
The interactions with his wife, manager and record producer felt quite awkward (maybe they were?) Whilst it was quite formulaic (musical biopics like Ray and Respect have a very similar feel) I thoroughly enjoyed the film and I was surprised at how quickly we arrived at the final scenes,

A well told story with enough dialogue to explain the complex plot but sufficient action to hold my attention. I particularly enjoyed the choreography of the fight scene with Rasputin. It has enough of the style of the previous two films to make it a Kingsmen although I do miss the mischievous twinkle of Eggsy.
The cast, acting and staging of the scenes is of the highest order it's obvious that this film had a huge budget that was well spent.
It also serves to remind us of the futility of war where so many innocent men die because of petty disputes or the delusional ideas of so called leaders.

An entertaining action thriller with a few twists and turns along the way.
It has the usual cops would never act like that scenes but if you ignore those then you'll have a fun hour and forty five minutes.
There are plenty of nods to classic mayhem in a police station movies like assault on Precinct 13, Rambo First Blood and Terminator.
It also draws on other movies like silence of the lambs during the hunting each other in the darkened labyrinth of the mens locker room scene.
Definitely worth a watch.
