Although it had a captivating and promising beginning, it quickly turned into a film that only threw in a few masala sequences one after another for the sake of fan service. It was not distinctive in any way. I know this was done on purpose for the fans, but it really did not measure up to the expectations I had for the film. It was like watching the same thing we have been seeing for years-the same sentiments, jokes, and punch lines. With this film, Venkat Prabhu has truly let us down after directing such a fantastic film as Manadu. At best, the plot was mediocre. The de aging process was pitiful.
The music was very loud. Vijay's popularity is the only explanation for why this film is able to run. With the acting, he has really excelled. It is obvious that this is a one-man performance because he spends the entire picture carrying the movie on his back. The story's writing is dreadful. It seemed just like three hours of nonstop reel watching. The scenes have no connection at all. One strange event after another just keeps happening. Lacks a meaningful backstory. The villain was a poor choice. I wish they had chosen someone with a stronger sense of self.

Despite increasingly absurd story twists and an endless vehicle pursuit in Croatia, The Union maintains a fun tempo of information, mission, fighting, and romance for the great majority of its one hour and forty-seven-minute duration.
As one might anticipate, Wahlberg plays the everyday Joe, while Berry proves that she's more than just an Oscar-winning actress-she's a formidable cinematic badass. The movie moves along with ease and grace. Nothing in the proceedings should be taken too seriously, as demonstrated by scenes like Mike's humorous phone conversations with his seemingly omniscient mother (Lorraine Bracco, who gets laughs in her limited screen time), which are part of the winking self-awareness that runs throughout Joe Barton and David Guggenheim's screenplay.

This show has got better and intense with each episode! The extreme and intriguing intensity in this one is beyond the ordinary flow of the show. It's still in a stalemate situation - there are at least 4 people who are pointed out as the potential culprit apart from Rusty, but whose guilt will be proved eventually? We still have no clue - it is now anybody's guess! Watch out for the final episode!
As a law student, from a legal standpoint, I have found this episode very well composed and correctly done. The vehemence of the scene when the boy was put on the witness stand and the magnitude and legal points involved in the scene when Jake was put on the stand was very gripping and stimulating from a legal standpoint.
When in a court of law - it is not what you know or saw, it is "what you can prove".
Everyone has acted phenomenally, but I personally think Jake's standard is much more higher as he portrayed in his other projects.
I already feel bad as this amazing show is coming to an end! And i certainly hope that Season 2 will be announced soon!
