After reading the synopsis and reviews online, I wasn't sure if I'd be interested in catching this movie. I finally saw it at a special showing, and I was glad that I did. I'd suggest going into the film without any specific expectations and without reading the reviews beforehand. It's a much better film than they would lead you to believe.

The emotions are intense throughout, thanks to the heartbreaking premise. The two main characters are thrust into a desperate situation with no one to turn to, and they face a lack of compassion from those around them. Friends, family, and coworkers. It's anyone's worst nightmare.

Though there are some tough, heart-wrenching scenes, the film also has its fair share of humorous moments and instances that offer a sense of hope. The lead actors, Nathalie Poza and Javier Gutiérrez, show a great amount of range.

It definitely has a feel reminiscent of an American road movie, and I found myself wondering where they filmed some of those locations in Spain. In many ways, it didn't feel like a Spanish movie, which may be why it hasn't been reviewed very favorably online by national critics. It has some noir elements to it that I think would appeal more to an international audience.

I found myself engaged throughout the entire movie, unsure of where it was going or how things would turn out for our protagonists, which made it worth it for me.

I was so excited to watch this show, especially knowing it stars Nadia de Santiago (who I loved in Cable Girls) and Álvaro Mel (from A Perfect Story).

The story reminded me a lot of Cable Girls in that it was definitely a period piece, but with fun modern twists and some hilarious music choices. The dialogue is fast-paced and really funny at times.

Visually, it's colorful and dreamy. It might not have the huge budget of Bridgerton, but I love the take on 1800s fashion, and some of the dresses were gorgeous.

I did wish for a little more spark between the leads, but Nadia de Santiago had great, natural chemistry with Carloto Cotta as the cute duke.

If you're a fan of Cable Girls, Bridgerton, or A Perfect Story, I would recommend checking this one out. It's fun, charming, and binge-worthy.

If you're a fan of Aitana, I think you will really enjoy this docuseries! It gives a great look at all the hard work she puts into her craft and the pressure she's under. Plus, there are some really cool moments where we get to see her songwriting process in action. You can really see what goes into her music and what her life is like behind the scenes. My only complaint would be that the plot moves along slowly at times as we are waiting to see what happens with the big concert she is planning. The documentary also goes into her private life and the strain that she is under due to her lack of privacy. I hope that things get better for her in that respect.
