It;s hard to describe how much I like this, but the original is Brilliant too. I admit to some geographical, and cultural bias Burnley, Rock Music, virtually every music pub in the UK, Banks, Poverty,,Pay Day Loans. Ordinary working people, becoming completely desperate by the unregulated pay day loan sharks in the UK.. But the Americans come out of this film relatively well, considering they are still trying their best to impoverish all of Europe including the UK.. What makes this film is not just Dave from Burnley, but how completely accurate it is at portraying real people in Lancashire...how warm friendly and welcoming we. Are - even if totally skint..

This is different, we've seen all the rest. - from every political view...This is new, and probably true, about being able to express Your Political View...FREE SPEECH without being Controlled by whatever Authority is in Control. Or wants to be in Control in eg NORWAY just prior to WW11 or maybe even now/...Is Norway closer to Russia - well they share they share the same border...Neither of them like nazis and neither do I.

I thank the Norwegians for making this Film, and Netflix for Publlishing it. ( am lucky I do not know the horrors of War and do not want my Children or Grandchilldren to expereince the horrors my father did.. He survived. My my brother worked in Norway for several years as a builder. English and Norwegians are Friends -- as are The Russians. Great Film Thank You.

This works on multiple levels - like clever kids (especially the youngest). Mum and Dad. Which the teenagers are worrying about (last year they used to stay up all night - just chatting together - whilst us kids just fell asleep happy, knowing mum and dad were very much in love - no problems totally normal family). Go on holiday maybe The Caribbean or Indian Ocean. And maybe come across the occasional Volcanic eruption, underwater earthquake and possibly a Tsunami in the Atlantic Ocean? I have almost nothing to criticise about this film, cos most of it is true - even on a scientific level.,,except if there was an enormous underwater explosion near the Canary Islands, which may well cause a Tsunami - like what happened in Sri Lanka in 2004, it would have almost no effect on the USA, except the surfing might improve in Texas. At the time, I personally declined to climb up a coconut tree- and went back to sleep...Our kids said Dad - wake up - we have got to go to the centre of the island.. Mostly been there and done that. Not too keen on the Black Sand from the Volcanic Ash - but personally recognise pretty much everything in this TV Series. Most of it is very close to the truth - Personal relationships, physics, maths, geology, and the quiet kid - brightest of us all. Kids are pretty much the same on the beach. Maybe your Norwegian kids met our English kids on the beach or will.
