I was hoping for (like everyone else) a "National Treasure 3". Sadly, this storyline is so utterly formulaic and bland that even director Guy Richie couldn't salvage a half decent movie out of this silly, silly, silly, silly, insult-to-the-intelligence plot. That's the real problem with this film. - There's zero imagination and the characters all seem as if they're bored and want to go home.
What a terrible shame. Natalie Portman, who was the central character in Leon, The Professional comes across as an twerp. John Krasinski is simply unsuited to comic relief in an action film. The baddies and goodies are hard to even discriminate between and whenever the band of "goodie misfits" are having one of their attempts at being funny, a team of cartoon type characters burst in. No surprise of course, since we know it's going to happen. And that's the other problem with this junk movie - NO SURPRISES.
Oh, deary, deary me - what a waste of previously good talent. I gave this 4/10 but, honestly, I was being generous.
You will be disappointed with this film. If you aren't, then you're standards are extremely low.
Do something else. Vacuum the carpet, make a spaghetti, go for a walk, read the bible - you'll thank me for this advice.

If you're looking for action, you've certainly found the wrong place. This movie never actually gets out of first gear.
It's well photographed and that's about all I can say about it. To me this movie should have been entitled "Valium" because it genuinely can put you to sleep - but it'll take about 45 minutes to do so.
I won't go into details about the plot, as it's been described by so many other reviewers. Stephen Soderberg "couldn't understand" why this film did so badly at the box office. My answer to him is:- "Because your movie is dreary, mundane, confused, loquacious, badly directed, and lacking a good plot. The editing appears to have been done by a 13 year old with ADHD." Yes, really, this film is that bad.
You have been warned.

I adored the original snow white film as a kid. I watched it so many times. It was magical. It was wonderful, it was a beautiful fantasy. It was everything a child could ask for.
When I heard the new snow white had come out. I desperately wanted it to recapture the magic of the 1937 film. I sat through the whole film. Oh, dear dear me. What an awful, horrible mess. I was thinking of leaving. But I had my children with me and I thought, may as well sit through it. I've paid for the ticket. - But, oh dear me, I wish I had left before the end. This was an absolute shambles of a movie. Disney has absolutely lost the plot. So sad. So very very sad. How did they get this so wrong?
