As a teenager who grew up racing, this scratches the itch! Fun coming of age show with all of the related drama of romance, mystery, parent/family issues but with the super fun twist of automobiles.
You can tell that many of the actors/actresses are just getting their feet under them, but with a few stand out performances.
The story and drama are definitely interesting and compelling. Not super special, but adequate to drive a coming of age drama series like this.
But where this series truly shines is the car/racing culture. They integrate it really well into the show without making it a side gimmick, or being really ignorant and cheesy about it.
10/10 for the fun factor for season 1. Hoping for a few more seasons.

Ok, here's the thing, this movie is a comedy. Matt Walsh's demeanor throughout the film is over the top and cringey. It's because this is supposed to be a comedy even though it does expose some of the ridiculous characters driving the DEI movement.
As a comedy, a lot of the movie wasn't like super funny. Definitely cringey, but not usually in a funny way. As an expose on the drivers of the DEI movement, it also wasn't great. However, there were 1-2 moments that had me absolutely dying of laughter. They weren't the over the top moments either. Once or twice Matt made an off handed comment or gesture that had me dying in laughter.
It's worth a watch, but don't expect much.

As usual with Jackie Chan movies, the stunt coordinator, the fight choreographer, and Jackie Chan made this a fun movie to watch regardless of how dry the humor was, how bad some of the acting was, and how thin the plot was.
First off, the characters and their motivation made sense, but they weren't super drilled in. And some of the character traits were random and didn't tie in to the rest of their character.
There were also plot points that weren't explained well, or didn't make sense. Like, what country are they in? What is the bad guys background and motivation? Very hazy in a lot of that.
The action, though, was very fun! Sure, some of the effects looked low budget, but Jackie Chan fighting in his classic style is so dang fun to watch. And Jon Cena also is fun to watch fight because he's enormous. And watching them fight each other with tons of props (as Jackie is known for doing) was nothing short of awesome.
