Insaaf - Tale of Legends

The story was progressing gradually in the first half....in the start,it seemed like a another bangla classic but that thought was wiped by how nicely placed the interval was. Leaving enough room for curiosity for the second half is quite rare in these so called bengali classics....

The second half progressed quite quickly and alot of new characters were introduced. But the story writing was nice enough to make the movie not feel fastforwarded. I didn't like how they used Mosharraf Karim as a character because his story and sudden overall impact on the plot made it look like he was forcefully put into the plot just for publicity.

Overall the movie was great but some things seemed unnecessary with the plot.

This is the kind of movie where you'll be on the edge of your seat the whole time. There is a lot of action for a Bangla movie. I have not seen such a good action movie that is action from beginning to end in a long time. The BGM is excellent, but it needs more variety. The same BGM is used in most parts. The songs are all great and well-placed. Everyone did a great job in acting, however, Shariful Raj may be the one that stands out. He has the potential to be the next superstar. Mossaraf Karim got a small but impactful part. However, the story has zero buildup even though the core story is 10/10.

Besides, The story has some issues with low or emotional moments, and the BGM in the emotional low moments did not quite work. There is a surprise cameo as well. And it might be to create a cinematic universe similar to Raihan Rafi. And I'm all in for that. I think the director should work with a better scriptwriter and take his time with character and story buildup and payoff. Everything else is a blast to watch, full of entertainment. It just needs a bit of breathing space. That's it.

However, It is a R-rated movie, not suitable for family entertainment. I loved it and will encourage everyone to watch it. It will exceed your expectations for sure.

Recent Bangladeshi movies are a bit better than this, a few moments are movie worthy ain't gonna lie and will surely be watching a second version but as good as the casting was, we still need that good fighting actress which I felt like she missed. Other than that the casting was too good.

What I didn't like was the storytelling which was a bit off, the grandeur and punches which were a bit off, the script seemed nice but could be better, however the cinematography was a good 7.5 however I want them to think a bit more on it to bring the best. If you are trying to make a movie only then thats fine, what is it worth to only make a movie and not make a piece of art. Spend some more time, we are getting over the phase of laundering money through movies, i still dont mind if they do but I believe the director can do better. Much much better, it's why I rated so high. Overall its better than average movies honestly but the bar is getting higher by the day.
