Kiss Me 99 Times A Day, is an amusing story of a CEO billionaire who gets infatuated by a Stange girl who kisses on their first meeting to get out of a sticky situation. Grant coincidently needs a contract bride to appease his grandmother into having a life-saving surgery. Grant's sister causes a misunderstanding between Grant and Alice by convincing Alice that Grant is still in love with his childhood sweetheart Samara.
While there were many opportunities for Grant to clear this misunderstanding, he remained silent through the course of the vert. (well it wouldn't be a vert if the lead confessed everything from the moment the female lead began to have doubts.) The vert attempted some "spicy" scenes in it, but they sort of felt flat! Along with some really cringe lines that came out of Grant's mouth... (shower and strip truth drink scenes IYKYK)
Alice turns out to be "Glitch" a legendary hacker (what a name for a hacker...) there are so many instances where Grant should have figured out Alice's identity, but it all came crashing down to him towards the end! Grant's character showed A LOT of possessiveness and dominance over Alice. This can be seen as a positive but more on the negative side of things. The Aggressiveness could have been toned down just a tad. (vert writers take note!) Towards the end, we do see a loving and soft version of Grant, when he finds out that Alice is pregnant and expresses his desire to have half of a football team with her LOL! I loved how the title of the vert came up a few times between Grant and Alice creating a special connection between the title and the script. Lastly, I do see that KM99TAD is a simplified version of "Hacking into the CEO's Heart."
John Jamieson's overall performance in KM99TAD is impeccable. He perfectly portrays his character with the perfect amount of arrogance, dominance, possessiveness, care, protectiveness, and humor! He did it again with his charismatic expressions in every scene; even though I thought to myself at times "How did he keep a straight face while filming this scene" at times! John never fails to amuse us with his acting skills, I will say that his acting in KM99TAD is different from the other two verts that he has done. John, you're amazing and I can't wait to continue to review your work further.
