Twisted Devotion is a masterclass in psychological suspense. From the opening scene to the final twist, it pulls you deep into a world where love and obsession blur in the most chilling ways. The performances are raw and believable, especially the lead actors, who carry the emotional weight of the story with haunting intensity.
What makes Twisted Devotion so powerful is its ability to keep you questioning everyone's motives. Just when you think you have it figured out, the story takes another unexpected turn. The writing is sharp, the pacing is tight, and the cinematography adds an eerie elegance to every moment.
This isn't just a thriller-it's an exploration of the darker side of love and how far someone will go in the name of devotion. If you enjoy movies that leave you thinking long after the credits roll, Twisted Devotion is a must-watch.

Twisted devotion had a stalker who had a rather calm voice for a fan who liked or likes an R&B singer and kidnaps them. It's a bad movie because even the cinematography was very poor even for a 2025 movie. Even with the 'am doing this for your own protection' this was bad. Mariah Denee was bland as she can be and even the lover DeAngelo Raney she had was as bad and the movie was that....completely bad. It's only the voice of the 'fan' that lightened the movie a little bit but even that too was as bland as it can be. The music background sounds weren't good either. I won't recommend this movie to anyone except such people are fans of the actors/actresses of this movie. Another one to skip!!
Of course I had not heard about this 2025 thriller titled "Twisted Devotion" prior to getting the chance to sit down and watch it. I have to admit that I sat down with zero expectations to the movie, and thus I suppose writer and director Marcus Brown had every possible opportunity to entertain and impress me.
But that was not the outcome of the viewing. Nah, this was a bland viewing experience at best. The script was semi-adequate, I will say that. But it was not a particularly exciting or thrilling narrative. And the acting performances were sluggish, literally, which didn't do a bit to promote the narrative. It was a straightforward script, but totally and fully devoid of twists and turns to throw the audience off the track. And that made for a very generic and predictable viewing experience.
I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie. And I can't say that I was impressed with what I saw. Everyone were literally putting on sluggish performances, delivering their dialogue as if they were numbed senseless by something.
If you enjoy thrillers, then I would not really recommend you to waste 70 minutes on watching "Twisted Devotion", because writer and director Marcus Brown didn't deliver anything overly enjoyable, nor did he bring anything exciting to the table. And should you opt to sit through it, as I did, this movie hardly warrants a second viewing.
My rating of "Twisted Devotion" lands on a most generous three out of ten stars.
