I knew this would be funny because of the cast, but i was definitely mistaken this was beyond funny! The plot the acting the laughter it brought all shows how much they truly put into this film. It's the perfect blend of messy and funny, with just enough heart to keep you invested. If you've ever been "down bad," prepare to feel seen... and roasted. Visually, it keeps things clean and modern, with some creative editing choices that match the chaotic energy of the plot. The pacing never drags, and just when you think it can't get messier... it does. In the best way. Shoutout to them for a great film and hoping for even better things in the future!

I was highly surprised after watching this film. I knew it would be good but it definitely surpassed my expectations. It was said to be a comedy but it touched several areas. It brought the laughs, it had touches of drama, parts left me with suspense. And even had a hint of mild action lol. Overall this was a very nice watch. I would definitely do it again. For an indie film this was well written, well acted and shot very well. Only problem was I can't watch it again lol. Would love to see more from this production team and even a part two to this if possible. Great job everyone involved! DOWN BAD is one to see!

Down Bad was a real life experience that could happen to anyone. The writer, director, and cast did an amazing job blending in comedy, drama, and action.

Down Bad brings Nashville to life with the various scenes shot throughout the city, capturing its highs and lows. Speaking of, the film starts with the highest of highs as our main characters begin the film to the lowest of lows as they struggle from dead end job to dead end job and get rich quick schemes. Much like the city of Nashville, our main characters were persistent and had faith. Which ultimately led to them being back on top.

I must say, I was surprised at just how funny this film was. Truly excited to see what she writes next. Consider my ticket paid in advance.

I lived the story telling and it was very hilarious.....tht was real life stuff in tht movie. Can't wait for the next project. Plus I luved the intro to the movie,crazy as it sound I recognized the neighborhood they were using and living in. Hollywood, Tennessee is about to become the real "Hollywood South" y'all better watch out cause we coming for that brass ring. To Marcus and his wife y'all knew how to play off each other for real,couldn't tell y'all was really acting. And to the rest of the cast,stars in the making. I may clown this state a lot but it warms my heart to see people I grew up with and even shared the gridiron with. I'm looking forward for what's to come. Naaaaaaawwwwwffffff!!!!!
