With Love, Meghan

I feel bad for Meghan Markle, even though she told a guest that she's not a Markle and to stop referring to her as such. She did that with clenched teeth and a baby voice but her anger was clear, the first of many hostess no no's and devoid of real love. It was love adjacent. The series is rife with what felt like a very controlled and almost robotic Markle, despite her will to put on a brave face. This isn't instagram though, curating an image doesn't get past the audience. The tips and tricks she shared are a dime a dozen on TikTok, more reminiscent of Pinterest circa 2016. Meghan has been isolated in a wealthy conclave and seems desperate to be loved, she just couldn't be real. The set and design were muted tones and made for a nice background but it's not her kitchen so it's hard to accept this as a real, authentic, party asking the viewer to join in. Too elitist for the average person. Poor Meghan Markle, we were rooting for this recent rebrand to work for her. Maybe Netflix can help find something more fitting for this kidless mom.
