Through much efforts, I still did not manage to understand the film at all. It seems like a pageant of a large variety of social dregs, whose conversations and behaviors do not make any sense to me. In all, watching it will be a waste of time, at least for most people with their complete sanity.
If you are wondering about the title - I did too - it will be mentioned in the movie. And it may even make sense to some. By that point the whole thing was too far gone for me to care for any explanation at all. This is beyond understanding - or norms for that matter.
Your moral compass will be in overdrive on so many things. And if you actually root for the main male character - well I couldn't, he was way too despicable on multiple levels. That being said, Najarra almost saves the day. Her role/character is also quite off beat (and yes I am putting it lightly and nicely), but she is a breath and then some of fresh air.
Yes she is beautiful, but so are other individuals in the movie. She is able to bring some sort of gravitas and make you care for her. At least a little bit - which may go some way to explain why I didn't go lower with my vote. A lot of nudity to begin with - but do not worry (or do?), the movie will not keep that tempo. It will take quite the long break. Actually you may get angry when our main character shrugs off (quite rudely if I may add) a love scene in the making.
Still this is insanity and if you try to understand the motives of our main characters, you are lost already ... if you can suspend your disbelief and just drag along (no pun intended), you will be fine.

Everything about Wolf Mother grabbed me from the first ten minutes in. I was already intrigued by the title alone, but that's only the beginning.
The story is riveting and suspenseful, the actors are fantastic with great chemistry, the dark noir atmosphere is right up my alley and the music is awesome and perfect!
I spent a large part of the time on the edge of my seat. This is one I cannot wait to own and feel lucky to have had a chance to see it prior to its release. I highly recommend, and great job to all involved. This is one of the best movies I've seen in some time and I will soon be checking out The Toy Soldiers as well.

Absolute rubbish 2 hours of my life I will never get back, thought their was some good reviews I am a film fanatic seriously avoid at all costs but if you want to look at some nakedness then crack on I thought in my opinion it has to be one of the worst films I have ever watched weak plot and rubbish acting you have been warned
Movie Marmite.
Not for everyone but I loved it.
So I understand the dichotomy of reviews.
A certain level of intelligence is required to fully understand and appreciate the many threads of human issues being dealt with.
Erik Peter Clarkson creates a magical fancy french plait of filmography.
From the hugely gritty opening scene to the heartbreaking closing scene, I was utterly mesmerised throughout.
At times. I was holding my breath. Other times I was in tears. Couldn't look away.
It was a spectacular rollercoaster and I will need to watch it again many times to fully appreciate it all.
Knowing the outcome will make any re-watch that much more amazing. I can't wait.
Really not sure where all these massively negative reviews are coming from. If you couldn't follow it, just say that. No need to make out it was rubbish because there wasn't one bad scene or one bit of bad acting in any part of it.
I thought all the acting was amazing. Then suddenly an amazing brief cameo by Tom Sizemore which blew my mind (for those that have seen it, will understand the pun there).
How was this not a bigger hit? Had the same feeling about Boondock Saints.
This director is a genius who I would not be surprised if he has been inspired by QT.
