Punching

Putting aside that FND usually make shorts which you expect to be in your face comedy, because thats what we have and always will expect. However, when it comes to a Short film its a different story. They have a narrative to follow, a story to tell and it all has to be linked together to make sense with the occasional joke here and there.

I expected Punching to look how it did in the trailer with the same cast members that we have always loved. Coop, Vin, Aaron, Jake, Bernardo, Marty and you know, the list goes on. It wasn't how i expected it to be. It was a lot better. I was thrown back in show as to how professional this film looked for such a low budget. It was amazing, a well executed story with emotion, passion, action and comedy all in one. FND really have moved up in the world of film making and I'm proud to be a long time fan. I cannot wait to see where they go from this.

All in all, an awesome film which was 100% worth the money and time i donated to this film. You must watch it.

Definitely take the time to watch this! You can tell they spent a long time perfecting every part of the movie. It isn't some cheesy, low quality production film. The actors did a great job, and really sell their roles. The film is under an hour long, but it still provides a very compelling storyline. This movie is very funny, especially the end, (no spoilers) but it also gets other emotions out of you. It is a unique film with some very unique characters that never have a dull moment. The fighting scenes are great and they found a great spot to film the fights, which adds a great deal of realism to the film. This is a very well thought-out movie and it is definitely better than some movies that are shown in the theaters. Overall, just watch this movie, you won't be disappointed.

With a star-studded cast, starring the one and only Cooper Johnson, Aaron Fronk, and Vincent Degawhatever, this is the culmination of hard work. The performances were spectacular. It was just like a full length movie! The emotional plot hit harder than The Shawshank Redemption. I have been following this group for a long while now. I think I can speak for all fans when I say that they pulled this off perfectly. When they first released the trailer, I bet they knew they struck comedy gold. The daily picture teasers up until the release were pure appetizers. We wanted more. More dailies. More FND. Just MORE. Yet, once it was released, it once again proved that their sense of humor is supreme. Hats off to FND, Mary, and long live the USA.

Firstly I have to say I've been a big fan of FND Films for years ever since I saw the gay zombie video, but found this movie not quite as hilarious as their (non)daily videos. But this short by itself is good and parts of it were hilarious, but sadly most of it was drawn out and forgettable. As for the look and feel of the movie, a lot of work has gone into the development of this short and you can definitely notice the improvement of the production quality but you can't help but feel the material wasn't good enough to be put into a full length short and should of stayed a 5-10 minute clip on Youtube. Considering this is their first full length short (as far as I know ) you can tell the story had the potential to be a lot better then it was, rather than play off a Rocky theme. All and all, an enjoyable short from one of my favorite group of artists but just nothing that would leave a lasting impression
