This film intrigued me from the start with the great production value and the filmmaker 101 philosophy of using one location and just a few actors. This was a good choice fo this film and the actors were good as well. I truly wanted to enjoy the performances which are worth mentioning. BUT...where I lost interest was with the logic of the story. I won't give too much away, but when the villain came into the picture..which was far too quickly, I might add..the logic behind the hostile takeover of the situation was not warranted so quickly. The viewer didn't really get a chance to get to know the characters before havoc was being put into the situation. Also, as a schooled filmmaker you never have music with singing going on while actors are speaking dialogue!!! What was this director thinking??? I watched the film until the end was was deeply dissatisfied with the ending and the story. Even when there was fighting, it was so staged and slow and unbelievable that it took me out of the story. This director had a good opportunity to create a good film,. But screwed up that opportunity with a horrible story that ended badly and slow choreography with the action. I hope this director does a better job on his next film, and pay attention to those details.
