*I watched Duane Edwards' film Wrong Numbers via the Indie Rights YouTube channel for free (with ads).

The dialogue between Emma and Jack is smart, captivating, witty, and makes you think, but also leaves you feeling as if you've been in the same situation yourself. (brilliant filmmaking)

Wrong Numbers showcases the real impact of casual encounters on individuals' lives and how we allow them to consume not only our hearts but also our entire way of life.

Thankfully, I've never been in this situation before, so it was an exciting "fly on the wall" type of watch; however, I know many people who have encountered this, and believe me, it typically does not end well, and Duane paints that picture perfectly!

From the story line this movie and it's description, did'nt really catch my likes, but as I normally do at night after watching a movie and I still am not tired or sleepy, scroll and watch bits from what's on, I thought I have a look at this, and since it's a drama I marked it favourite for next viewing. I always said that good acting make a good movie. The movie is about 2 people conversating and in my opinion they did a good job. The story is realistic for modern times, and clearly describes the mentality and personalities of different generations. Then I have to see what's out this year, probably I would believe Emily Hall deserve some nomination for best actress.

The movie has a lot of strong scenes that are deep and takes a look at what can go wrong from a one night stand.

The movie is directed by Duane Edwards and stars Emily Hall & David Kelsey.

This is a very realistic journey of a woman with believable characters that are incredibly genuine to watch on screen.

The storyline pulls you in many directions as you're watching this movie.

The movie has lots of real life circumstances. This is a natural ride through life portrayed on screen. It was also shot in a very cool way with many scenes that make you think and reflect. I thought all the lead actors all had great onscreen chemistry- they were great together. The sets and scenes are great. Check this movie out! You'll remember it!

Wrong numbers is an independent drama by filmmaker Duane Edwards making his directorial feature film debut.

Set in Chicago The film is broken into two halves

The first half after a bad blind date in a restaurant perfect strangers Emma (Emily Hall) and Jack (David Kelsey) strike up a conversation and briefly share a connection.

The second half is set ten months later where Emma coincidentally runs into Jack at the cafe she works at.

However it becomes very clear their second meeting is no coincidence, and Jack has made some very drastic changes to his life since they last spoke.

Viewers looking for a fast paced film with action and neat resolutions in the end will be sorely disappointed but for the rest of us the nuances of the story was definitely worth investing my time and energy into.

The dialogue was very good and the characters felt relatable- I've met a lot of people like Jack and Emma well meaning individuals trying to navigate this messy world and being stuck in relationships routines and situations they don't want to be in but just can't break away from.

Overall Wrong Numbers was a very put together film about longing unrequited love and reflecting on the chances you didn't take and where it couldve lead.

I look forward to seeing what director Duane Edwards does next.

I absolutely loved Wrong Numbers! From the first few minutes, it had this casual, easygoing energy that instantly hooked me. The chemistry between the leads was so natural, and their conversations felt like something straight out of real life. The humor was perfectly timed - not over the top, just genuine and relatable. I loved how the story flowed without ever feeling rushed or forced. It's such a reminder that sometimes the wrong call or wrong turn can lead you exactly where you need to be. By the end, I was smiling like an idiot. Such a fun, heartwarming movie to watch! I would highly recommend it.
