the loss

A couple returns from church in hotel room. The loss of child is source of profound grief for each of them. But this grief is assumed in strict personal manner.

So, the wife layis in hotel room , in profound depression.

The husband goes to take the ashes, discovering secrets , help of others.

A short film as a puzzle of details. Beautiful crafted, fair acted, reminding states out of words and proposing realistic perspective about reactions post loss of beloved one. Delicate suggestions, inspired chain of sketches as shadows of words and gestures, wise constructed atmosphere, heavy in profound sense.

A film for remind or for offer new kick to assume the life.

Production ran into trouble on the first day when filming at a church's sacristy due to a surprise corpse being brought in to be prepped for a wake the following day.
