I have just finished watching all 3 series of Pramface on Hulu and I am very disappointed to find that there isn't (and won't be) a series 4. I often search the archives in vain to find, what I class as, a good comedy and stop watching the majority of them after just a few episodes as they are terrible. Pramface was well acted, kept me laughing and, best of all, kept me hooked. It had a very strong cast and I feel that it was good viewing for all age groups. I am 51 years old and have spent my life being entertained by Only Fools & Horses, The Vicar of Dibley and other great BBC classics like QI and Have I Got News for You etc and know a good comedy when I see one! I feel that the BBC commissioner has made a big error in not proceeding with this excellent show, while keeping other shows running that are far inferior. Shame on you BBC commissioner, you are out of touch with your viewing public!!
Pramface is a witty and laugh out loud social comedy coming form the Brits and is targeted primarily at teenage audiences, but quite well balanced for those long past the target audience ages. Since the show focuses on such quite serious topics as teenage pregnancy, teenage parenting and the troubles and challenges of being a teenager and a parent while at the same time having to deal with one's own parents, but at the same time never fails to exaggerate and somewhat sketch such situations, there are many and many funny moments in this show.
Going hand in hand with another great British series (My Mad Fat Diary), Pramface is a high quality TV show, which manages to tackle serious topics with a laugh out loud attitude.

Bucking the usual BBC3 trend for hand-to-mouth budgets and scruffy single sets, this has a massive cast, gorgeous houses you'll want to nick decorating tips off and its low-level smut is cushioned by some genuinely LOL-worthy moments.
Setting its stall midway between the cringe comedy of The Inbetweeners and too-cool-for- school Skins, it stars two ex-EastEnders: Scarlett Alice Johnson, who you definitely won't recognise as Vicki Fowler, and Emer Kenny (minus Zsa Zsa's blue hair extensions and stroppiness) who you probably will, as well as newcomer Yasmin Paige.
On the boys' team are Dylan Edwards and Sean Michael Verey.
I could tell you which pair of teens end up expecting a baby by the end of this episode, but that would spoil the surprise.
A second series has already been commissioned. Quite right, too.

Brilliant show - absolutely hilarious. A must watch... also their twitter stuff is great - I love when you can get to the show online @pramface
Acting from Sean and Dylan is super.. I love their hilarious relationship. Also, the dysfunctional family aspect is great. Two very contrasting families work well against each other.
Praying for a 3rd series. Great work BBC3. The new comedy of 2013. Reminiscent of Gavin and Stacey and other classic comedies. Make sure to continue following (the show and twitter of course!)
Well Done all!

I was expecting to hate this series given that it is not really aimed at me (I am 64). However I find it genuinely witty without being the usual low-level smut that passes for comedy in many programmes and movies aimed at the 15-30 age group these days. The actors deliver their lines and play it at just the right level and it is good to see that there are writers about that can bring something , while not new, to the table that is above the level of the usual dross we are fed with. Anna Chancellor and Angus Deacon work well together as the parents of the pregnant daughter. Sean Verey as Jamie and Scarlett Alice Johnson as Laura make an engaging "couple" of expectant parents ably supported by Yasmin Paige and Dylan Edwards as Jamie's friends. It is refreshing to see "unknowns" (at least to me) making such a good job of comedy which would be easy to make a hash of.
