Exclusive: Courtney Ford Talks True Blood, Missing William and More
On Season 4 of the hit HBO vampire series True Blood, actress Courtney Ford plays Portia Bellefleur, sister of Andy (Chris Bauer) and granddaughter of Caroline (Katherine Helmond), who is a confident lawyer, very proud of her family heritage. Things were really shaken up this season, when Portia unexpectedly and rather shockingly found out that she was the great-great-great-great granddaughter of Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), but that didn’t deter her desire to get involved with him sexually. However, on account of the torch that he’s still carrying for Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), which proves insurmountable for him, he used vampire magic to ensure that Portia would lose interest. During a recent exclusive phone interview with Collider, Courtney Ford talked about being a fan of the show and auditioning for two other roles before landing the role of Portia, learning to overcome her own anxieties of being nude on camera,...

The film which is set in the world of lacrosse is being directed by Steve Rash (Can't Buy Me Love) from a script by Todd Baird. The story follows "a rag-tag Native American high school lacrosse team that is forced to join the local prep school league, which is comprised of better trained and equipped rivals."

Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington Talk Dylan Dog at WonderCon 2011
With director Kevin Munroe's Dylan Dog getting released April 29, stars Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington were at WonderCon on Saturday to premiere footage and also answer fan questions. If you're not familiar with Dylan Dog, the film blends horror and humor and it's set in the backstreets of New Orleans. From the synopsis, "the story revolves around Dylan Dog, the world’s only private investigator of the undead with a business card that features his slogan, “investigator of the paranormal: no pulse, no problem.” Along with his assistant Marcus, Dylan will go where the living dare not -- facing down friend and foe alike, until justice is done." Before the panel, I sat down with Routh and Huntington for a very loose interview. We talked about being at WonderCon and can they walk the convention floor, what's their go to karaoke songs, the long road for Dylan Dog, they talk about the film,...

Brandon Routh
Casting Notes: Brandon Routh in ‘Missing William’; Ray Liotta in ‘The River Sorrow’; Liev Schreiber in ‘Goon’
Brandon Routh
Brandon Routh won't be in the new Zack Snyder-directed Superman, or so we're told. Which is too bad; after meeting resistance when he first got the role, I think a lot of people have grown used to the idea of Mr. Routh as Superman. Earning good will in Scott Pilgrim didn't hurt, through the rather dire-looking Dylan Dog might. Regardless, now he's booked a role in the indie Missing William. He may play opposite real-life wife Courtney Ford, who is in talks for the lead female role. Mr. Routh will be the childhood sweetheart of a woman who is trying to nurse her husband to health after he's injured in a fight. A love triangle naturally develops, "with the woman torn between the brain-damaged husband she loves and the hunky former flame who got away." Kenn Macrae will direct from a script by Daniel McKinnon. [TheWrap] After the break, Ray Liotta...
