Despite its $100,000 budget, the vast majority of the film is shot in only two locations.
In order to tell the story accurately, the film spent more than three year in pre-production development.
Four of the firefighters in the film are not professional actors, but active members of the Shelby County Fire Department, the agency spotlighted in the film.
Writer, producer, and director, Bobby Lacer, has served as a volunteer first responder since 1998 and began working as a firefighter in 2004. His younger brother, Beau Lacer, has served honorably as a volunteer firefighter for multiple departments for over 30 years.
