O2 will capture you for an entire of 2 hours, there is not one scene that is insignificant to the movie. Every scene is equally important and plays as hidden hints to the crazy climax in the end. O2 has broken all rules of commercial cinema. Lot of talented individuals have debuted in the film. Including the amazing directors who have put in extra effort into creating something out of the box! Loved the way the movie seamlessly blends science and love. Two concepts that are important to life, yet polar opposites.
The music adds serves as the cherry on top this this gripping story. Thoroughly enjoyed the sound design, and the songs!
O2 is a must watch especially for the Kannada audience that have been waiting for something new and something refreshingly different!!

O2 left the audience with too much to think about, cleverly merging concepts of science and love. They managed to convey to the audience that love is the real oxygen we require to live. It was a film filled with content, that grips the viewer not letting them go until the very last second. O2 if I may say was disturbing in the best ways.
The highlight of the film was definitely the story, which revolves around the character of dr. Shraddha played brilliantly by Ashima Ranganath. Shraddha refuses to accept the concept of death, and seeks to find a way to revive people after their death. The story encircle her journey in accepting death as a part of life, which is portrayed through cultural metaphors of shiva the god of destruction and verses performed through yakshagana. I thoroughly enjoyed the various hidden metaphors in the film.
Overall I believe o2 is a film that has broken the rules of the commercialised Kannada industry, providing a fresh, new and well though perspective!

This was my first Kannada movie and "O2" emerges as a breath of fresh air in the realm of cinema, seamlessly blending complex medical science with a narrative that's both engaging and accessible. The film's ability to distill intricate scientific concepts into a format that's not only understandable but also enjoyable is a testament to the creative prowess of directors Prashanth Raj and Raghav Naik. Their vision has undoubtedly propelled the industry forward, setting a new benchmark for intelligent filmmaking.i loved that at its core this is a love story and it's anchored in human relationships and emotions and doesn't over do the medical jargon.
At the heart of "O2" is Ashika, whose portrayal of a doctor is nothing short of remarkable. Her character's journey, driven by personal traumas that have left an indelible mark on her adulthood, is portrayed with a depth and vulnerability that resonate with the audience. Ashika's performance is a powerful reminder of the human spirit's resilience and the relentless pursuit of success against all odds.
The music of "O2" deserves a special mention for its catchy tunes that not only complement the film's tone but also enhance the storytelling. The soundtrack is likely to linger in your mind long after the credits roll, a hallmark of musical excellence.
In conclusion, "O2" is a cinematic gem that not only entertains but also educates, leaving viewers with a newfound appreciation for the art of film and the science it celebrates. It's a must-watch for anyone who values the confluence of artistry and intellect.

Brilliant movie with an amazing storyline, soothing music and beautiful acting. Directors Prashanth Raj and Raghav has poured in all their creativity to give this masterpiece. A science fiction which is not very common in Kannada industry is a must watch. Human emotions like love and grief is beautifully weaved into the storyline throughout film, keeping the audience glued with curiosity til the end. Unexpected climax is the highlight which you can look forward to see. It makes you believe soulfull soul connections are for real. Overall an amazing team work love to the entire team and wish you all success. I loved the camerawork and locations. The lighthouse scene with the lanterns was so beautiful. I want to visit that place. Searching on Google for that. Also the yakshagana portion was beautifully shot.
The dynamic duo Prashanth & Raghav broke the stereotypical format of a Kannada movie with their debut venture 'O2'. They proved that movies don't have to be just a love story, fight, family drama, action and peppy songs. Movies can also be made with simple story, relatable characters, information, authenticity and passion. In simple words it's like the best meal blended together with right amount of ingredients. ( cinematography, music, gripping story line, amazing star cast, extensive research and appropriate background score.)
For all those who complain of not having quality Kannada movies, here you have a good content oriented movie, 'O2'.
This is your time to embrace the change and promote passionate & visionary movie makers. 'O2' is certainly a new age cinema with a fresh breath of air. A very well executed movie with nuances of thriller, love, science, medical and metaphysical elements.
Walk into a theatre just not for the two hour of entertainment, watch the movie for those who dream, breathe and live for cinema. We as audiences, If we don't make movies like this work, there won't be anyone who dares to experiment and pursue their passion.
Like how they say it takes a village to raise a child, I think it takes an entire country to make one good movie. My appreciation to the entire cast and crew who relentlessly worked to make this a grand success! It's impressive to know how diligently the directors have shown their brilliance (no where it's seen as a work of first timer).
Raghav, You have donned two perfect hats as an actor and as a director! You are so natural as a RJ and sound awesome!
Ashika, This movie is truly a game changer and you are perfect in your doctor's character. Every emotion is portrayed so well- sadness, grief, perseverance, vulnerability, trauma and subtle happiness!
There are other actors who were truly amazing. All in all it's a great movie and some of the flaws can be overlooked as they weren't glaring for a first timer show.
For all our 'Appu' fans, this movie will be super special as it was his last approved project. It's sad Appu isn't amongst us to witness his dream moment, but, I think the team has done complete justice putting life into the movie!
Kudos to Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar for her bold decision in supporting an experimental cinema like 'O2' and making all of us proud! Now we have something to brag about!
Team 'O2', you have hit the right chord by touching hearts of all Kannadigas whose choices have changed in the recent times. The matured, globetrotter, world cinema lovers will certainly like an innovative movie like this.
You have certainly set the bars high for your next project!
