The anime is based on a manga by the same name that is running in the "Manga Erotics F" magazine, a magazine aimed at both women and men. It is currently ongoing, since 2004. The series has also been bound in book volumes, beginning in December 2005, with 4 volumes so far.

Boring.

Maybe this show gets more interesting over time, but its a romance so that's doubtful. The animation is nice, nothing too special. The music and overall tone just seems to be designed for the whole thing to come off as boring as possible.
