Despite being set in Bali, Indonesia, the film was filmed in Queensland, Australia.

Gaffes
Lily is supposed to be starting work as an attorney after she returns from Bali, a trip she departed for immediately after graduating from college. However, in the United States, attorneys (in most circumstances) must attend three years of law school after college and then take the bar exam in the state they intend to practice in; furthermore, the bar exam is only given in July and February. She would most likely be too busy studying for the bar to take an extended trip to Bali.

George and Julia carry this

George and Julia are on form and are pretty great. The supporting cast other than Lourd and the Dad aren't sadly.

It's all very cliched. A bland daughter character is marrying a near perfect guy who lives in a perfect place. It's insulting to the cultures when the places and people are always shown as perfect. At least the dad has a bit of wit though.

If you had two decent actors in the younger roles who actually had more than one dimension then this film could've been really good. Shame Lourd wasn't cast as the daughter.

Overall watchable for George and Julia but everyone else is wrong place, wrong time.
