Zap!

An astronomer has noble interest to made a vlog about a very interesting phenomenom. In isolated location, a telescope, his phone and a lot of mosquitos. For the last seems be a solution. But is it real one ? The techical problems prove something little different.

A monologue in night , obvious passion and a bug zapper working in radical manner. And, sure, a nice story who seems illustrated by the bad luck of poor Curtis.

In short, well crafted story and the beautiful performance of Joel Foster in his fight against insects and hard try to communicate to his audience the details about a black hole from middle of Milky Way gallaxy.

Zap! Is a "top notch" short film. Highly entertaining! Witty dialogue, interesting, clever storyline. Very impressive film, including the poster! Professional production, without a doubt. I highly recommend checking out the film for yourself. I guarantee, you won't be disappointed.

For a directorial debut, this was all the more praiseworthy for Philip and his Production Team. The Lead Actor was terrific as an Astronomer making a vlog, while being constantly interrupted by pesky bugs.

As a writer myself, I hope to collaborate with Philip on future projects. Philip is always helpful, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable regarding filmmaking and the art of screenwriting. Nice job!

I am such a fan of Philip's work, and I never feel disappointed. His work is always cleverly crafted and has unique worlds and characters. His dialogue is sharp and funny, and he makes such entertaining films. I love ZAP!

It's a very good short film, I can't believe it's his directorial debut also. It's made so smart for a first project - with one location, one actor, and well lots of bugs. I just really love seeing that his films explore people that are rarely explored. This film follows the life of a astronomer making a vlog in the middle of nowhere, all while being bothered by mosquitos. I can't wait to see what else Philip does next.
