I thought of binge watching this series as it is made by Prakash Jha. As usual he brings many layers of story line in his work specially regarding politics, beuracracy, and the prevalent culture of Baba business. I feel the story is good and acting by cast are also good but many a times it felt stretched. I would have given it more if writing were a little more crisp and it had not more than 6 episodes. But still a good try!
MX player originals are turning out to be surprisingly entertaining.
I haven't watched a better performance of Bobby's. As a godman he exudes stoic serenity and as a conman he's as sleazy as one can be. He's really gotten into the character. Several new actors performing really well and several veterans giving some of their best performances.
There is sufficient drama and steamy sleaze. Some of the elements of the plot are too simplistic to be true, but then this is not a top grade production in a top grade platform.
I see why many have given negative comments: in today's hyper-nationalistic India, it's difficult for many to see art as art and not get defensive where it's not needed.
I think this season is very cheap budget Because akki use two bike at same time.. When he his go to doc's home his bike name IGINIATOR, and then he enter the house of doc bike changed.and second bike is Apache. Very 🤣funny.
But this is season is not chepest budget..
Ok and all over this is season is very interesting. So my rating is 7Star.
The story was known. It's based on the controversial Dharmaguru Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh Insaan. Although the story revolves around Ram Rahim, businesses in the name of religion, and self-destruction in superstition - these are the issues that have given more prominence. More interestingly, the series was directed and produced by renowned Indian filmmaker Prakash Jha. Popular movies like Gangajaal, Apaharan, and Rajneeti was made by him.
The Story and the screenplay were well decorated and established. The production design was pretty good. And the gigantic set reminds me that the producer's name is Prajaksh Jha. Making was quite good. But at the very first episode, I was doubted that truly is this made by Prakash Jha? The first episode hadn't the proper vibe of Prakash Jha. But after that, gradually it became more interesting and worth watching.
Bobby Deol was in the leading role. And he did it quite brilliantly. Bobby was totally sunk into the Baba Nirala character. Another brilliant role has playing very well by Chandan Roy Sanal as Bhopa Swami. Without this character, Baba Nirala's influence became zero. Bhopa is a kind of that character, who was a Saint at Ashram but he also controlled illegal works. Chandan Roy has portrayed even the small details of this character very well.
Darshan Kumar played the role of Ujagar Singh. He acted quite well. However, the one who has noticed a flew in her performance is Adhiti Sudhir in the role of Pammi. I don't know why, but it seems that much better acting was needed for that character. Besides, there nothing much to say about the rest. Everyone has done fairly well. End of the day, I quite enjoyed this series.

As a Hindu we have to understand there are these types of baba's eg Ram Rahim.
However, there are many good hindu guruj, who are doing really good work. So those who are watching don't treat all Baba's are like this.
There are fake doctors it doesn't mean all doctors are fake.
Very much engaging story.
