Sombre désir

As someone else described (in paraphrase) starts off well then gets stupid. Over use of flashback and delusional thinking to depict an unreliable narrator. It has so many characters "flashing back" to moments that didn't happen, it's hard to tell them from the flashbacks/events that did. I don't know if the makers had to meet a minimum episode requirement, but the use of repeated scenes and the utter stupidity of some of the exchanges seem like filler.

There are a few other noticeable flaws in writing. "Are you married?" (asked while the woman is wearing a bridal set with a huge diamond.) And the final pool scene - WTF happened there?!?!?

My bigger peeve with the story is the depiction of - for the vast majority of the story - otherwise intelligent, accomplished women as becoming stupid after a good f*%&$k. On the other hand, the story closes out pondering that plot point, so, much like with the flashbacks, it feels like you - the viewer - were punk'd. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

Reminds me a bit of those B horror films that are so bad, they're good. The makers knew this and are laughing all the way to the bank. Which is why it gets an 7 instead of 5.

Overall, the mystery is gripping enough to make one want to hang around to see whodunit and why. But the urge to do something else while watching or fast forwarding is overwhelming.

Oh, and that whodunit. Who = resolved. Well, at least one of them. Why = not so much - for all of them. Which sets the stage for season 2.

The only reason I have continued to watch this series is to find out if Brenda did kill herself or was murdered and if so by who! However I am on episode 14 and have absolutely no idea as to the answer and in honesty I am rapidly getting to the point of who cares,maybe Brenda watched this series and killed herself that I could understand as it is certainly driving me mad!

Firstly the actor playing Dario on a personal level I don't find him that good looking the amount of forced sex scenes is ridiculous that are repeated in every episode and for the life of me I don't know why they have zero bearing on the progression of the story ( I use the word progression very loosely lol. ) and they are not even believable passion requires some chemistry and There was none on display!

From episode 1 to 14 there has been mostly flashbacks to various sexual encounters dreams portrayed as reality and the actors imaginations made to look like reality to the point I am at a loss which scenes are real and which are not as the director has not made it clear

I can't comment on any of the cast as I watched this with subtitles so hard to interpret

The Writer and director obviously favours/ focuses on his sex Shots and Not so much the story Which is a very big mistake specially as they are unbelievable

I gave 5 stars for the potential of the story only

There are a lot of plot twists that don't have a really good arguement to make you belive them. Makes your head explode

You can show what happened differently in dream and hallucination scenes , but if you do this in flash-back scenes, you will be lying. The script writer and the director has to be honest with the audience. Making mind games, trukes that will make the audience curious is welcome but you are hated when you treat the viewer as an idiot. Respect please.

I condemn Netflix for purchasing such an unethical strategy.

I didn't expect much from trailer I saw, but it surprised me. I love this show! The sex, passion and plus added some drama and twists. Their chemistry reminded me of my lover and me
