Netflix added a load of new titles this past week, and just in case you missed some of the highlights, here’s the complete list of every fresh addition to the streaming service that arrived in the last several days. In total, there were 38 movies and TV shows dropped into to the library from Monday, November 9th to Sunday, November 15th.

Of the new films, there were a bunch of Christmas pics as Netflix has started to roll out its holiday season material. This included original production Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and 1954’s festive classic White Christmas. Family audiences, meanwhile, have animated sequel Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 to enjoy, while horror fans may want to check out the 2008 Prom Night remake. Last but not least, action/superhero lovers can flip on V for Vendetta for an obligatory November rewatch.

A romantic comedy that seeks to reinforce the love team between singer-turned-actress Sarah Geronimo and Big Brother housemate-turned-matinee idol Gerald Anderson, Raz de la Torre's Won't Last a Day Without You does not stray far from the established story map and intention of a merchandized movie. It is feel-good, fun, funny, and extremely charming, like most of what Star Cinema has been mindlessly producing the past several years. The Playlist has new details on Tabloid*, the next film from documentary filmmaker Errol Morris. While other documentarians may have greater name recognition in the mainstream, Morris is one of the best out there. The Thin Blue Line is one of the staples of the genre and his recent political work (The Fog of War and Standard Operating Procedure) is especially noteworthy. His next film, Tabloid, is a considerable departure from his previous film, Standard Operating Procedure, and centers on the fascinating figure of former Miss Wyoming, convicted rapist, and dog-cloning supporter Joyce McKinney.

The Playlist reports that the film is funny and odd, which is an interesting approach to the tale of McKinney, who abducted and raped Mormon missionary Kirk Anderson. The case was known as “The Case of the Manacled Mormon,” which sounds like a really inappropriate Encyclopedia Brown book.
