I rather enjoyed this movie. For lesser known actors, the calibre of acting wasn't bad at all. The storyline was somewhat interesting and there were some mildly humorous parts (diner scene).
Don't rush out to get this thinking it is the must see movie of the decade, but do watch it. Don't expect greatness and you will probably be pleasantly surprised, as I was.
About 5 minutes in, I felt really soon for Bruce Greenwood, who I think of as an actual movie star. I cannot imagine what dirt they had on him to blackmail him into being in this, well, I will call it a "film".
About 6 minutes in, I realized I felt sorry for Tiffany Thiessen, which honestly I did think was possible. Not just for me but for anyone.
Along about 7.5 minutes in, I specifically looked up stuntman Simon Northwood, who was playing an unnamed Commando, just so I could know the name of the stuntman I was feeling sorry for for being in this film.
Then at about 9 minutes, as the escaped cyborg (?) was being confronted by the genial country cop, all that evaporated. Suddenly I was overwhelming sorry simply for myself for watching this much of this film.
Don't be sorry; learn from my mistake.
Why is this movie made? If you ask me, I would say "I don't know." Its like million others B ratted movies, nothing innovative, after hour and a half watching you would regret for spending that time useless... But if you wish action without thinking, when you know the ending after 20 minutes, with not so good acting and every move predictable, then this is movie for you!

- GaffesWhen the El Camino is pushed over the cliff, it is obvious there are no people in the car. Also, as the car turns over (in slow motion) there is no drive shaft - so it couldn't have been driven shortly before being pushed over the cliff.
