This film clearly had it's potential I must say but it never failed to do 3 annoying flaws throughout the entire run.
Apart from the 3 flaws mentioned above, I had an issue with the Acts. Act 1 drags through the entire half of the runtime. It used up the entire half of the film to establish the character through repetitive jokes. There is no interesing incident that happens to the main character to push the plot to the next Act making this film looked like a 2 act story only. What's worse is that when we finally reach that interesting incident for the main character, all of a sudden the events keeps coming in rushed.
I have seen short films from the director and this film doesn't reflect the quality of those shorts.
- Jokes and lines are genuine and funny but it overstayed it's welcome too much.
- Lazy cutting. There are too many scenes where a audience is staring at this angle and for no good reason, there is a jump cut. Clearly, the cut is there because the actress/actor forgot the line.

Story of a 20 something girl asking God to give her a Jowa (Love Partner) coz she needs it and deserves it so much.
The world doesn't revolve on having a Jowa. The movie's plot is so lame.
Everything else is just full of cheap corny tricks to make you laugh.
Some of the acting is good that's why I gave it 4 stars (mostly).

Considering it's budget.
#JOWABLE's production is given an entry level budget considering the Philippines' film making standards for this masterpiece is writer and director Darryl Yap's debut. With the budget and it's blockbuster gross that surpassed the 100 million peso mark is one of the inevitable signs that this movie is not just a hit, but a great one.
The cinematography and editing
Through the lens of Director of Photography, Rain Yamson the story received a visual therapy that will give you the right feels of the film. After days of shooting, it's time for Editor, Vincent Asis to take this art piece come to life one step closer with his years of editing experience. So much more to tell about it such as musical scoring and other elements that made it entirely perfect. As a wrap, DOP Rain Yamson and Editor Vincent Asis together with Director Darryl Yap's blessing, undeniably did one great job.
The backbone of the film.
The story that originated from a viral short film on social media, from your mobile screen to the silver screen.
For sure, Viva Films undoubtedly trusted Darryl Yap up until now that his vision came to life. Years of hard work and dedication to the arts made this dream came to it's truthfulness.
The very thing that sets this film apart is the writer and director's bold, rare, truthful and brave approach and determination to tell untold stories the way they are supposed to be told-no sugar coating, no eye candies and one of my personal favorite, an ending that doesn't required to be twisted just to be a happy.
Instead it was given a treatment that will leave you contemplating your life right after the moment you left the cinema's chair.

I probably have not seen any movie that I can relate to at full extent. The movie showcasing the struggles of those who aren't "not-so-jowable", the defense mechanism whenever people start questioning you and the questions you have for yourself were there and I honestly appreciate every seconds of it including the message and the consequence if you are going to push and force your luck that much. However I don't like the movie's humor that much and I don't like Kim Molina's character that much -most of the time it's cringey.
For a Filipino movie this one is not predictable and I would say it's okay-ish. You just gotta have to lower your expectation if you're going to watch it.

This movie started funny charming and generally enjoyable but somewhere along the way it lost its footing. It was like a completely different movie give it a go
