Ranma 1/2 Anime Reveals Character Art, Voice Actor Comments for Mousse and Ukyo
Image
With season 2 of the new Ranma 1/2 anime adaptation on course for an October 2025 premiere, it won't be long 'til we get to see more returning characters with their shiny new series designs. Today, Mousse and Ukyo — previously confirmed to be making their 21st century debut next season — get character setting art, along with comments from the cast. Toshihiko Seki returns to the role of Mousse, which he played in the original series. The prolific actor has played iconic roles such as Muzan Kibitsuji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Duo Maxwell in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing . Seki mused on the support the new series will receive from both long-time fans, aided by their nostalgia, and new fans encountering the classic work for the first time in the Reiwa era. He also stated that Mousse's role is "to stir up the story" and asked fans to root for Mousse...

Comcast, Charter to partner with T-Mobile on new business wireless service
Image
A T-Mobile retail store in Missouri. (Photo courtesy Wave7 Research) Key Points: Comcast and Charter will use T-Mobile’s 4G and 5G networks to power a new business wireless offering. The offering will be available in 2026 under the Comcast Business Mobile and Spectrum Mobile for Business brands. The switch to T-Mobile for business services is notable given the existing residential partnership with Verizon. It’s unclear why T-Mobile was chosen, but it may be related to recent critical remarks by a Verizon executive, who claimed cable-based wireless had “peaked” and noted churn.

Comcast and Charter will debut new wireless offerings next year that leverage T-Mobile’s network, the companies said on Tuesday.

The new services will be available to business and enterprise customers, and will use leased access to T-Mobile’s 4G Lte and 5G wireless networks. Comcast will offer wireless service under the Comcast Business Mobile brand, while Charter...

EA Is Hurtling Towards an Embarrassing Record They May Want to Hide Away Forever
Image
Electronic Arts, otherwise known as EA, has released hundreds of games across different genres, which is an incredible record in itself. From FIFA (now known as EA Sports Fc) to Battlefield, the gaming giant has given so many titles that it’s difficult to keep count. However, it seems like the famous publisher is now up to creating a new record, perhaps an embarrassing one this time.

EA has been shutting down and canceling games in their production house like they mean nothing. This has been going on since 2023, when they started shutting down popular titles like Medal of Honor, Battlefield 1943, etc. They have been doing the same ever since and are more likely to create the record of shutting down most games by a video game company.

EA has been canceling games in its free time

The past few years have been a challenge for Electronic Arts as they...

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Season 1 Review: When Char Wins, A New Story Begins
Image
“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Season 1” arrives not as a quiet continuation but as a rather loud reimagining within the expansive Gundam mythos. The series boldly alters foundational lore: imagine Char Aznable, that perennial antagonist or anti-hero depending on the series, not only succeeding in his theft of the Earth Federation’s prized Rx-78-2 Gundam but also leading the Principality of Zeon to outright victory in the One Year War. Five years post-conflict, this is the reality.

We find ourselves on Side 6, a space colony where Spacenoids grapple with their new status under Zeon’s dominion. Into this politically charged atmosphere steps Amate Yuzuriha, a high school student whose ordinary existence is poised for a dramatic shift. The air is thick with the struggles of refugees and the illicit allure of Clan Battles—mobile suit duels—setting a precarious stage for Amate’s inevitable encounter with the GQuuuuuuX Gundam.

Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile Cancelled After Just A Year
Image
The mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone will be officially discontinued and delisted from app stores by Monday. The mobile version of the popular multiplayer shooter was released on March 20 of last year, making it barely over a year old at the time of its discontinuation. Despite not being out for long, Activision has decided that it will not be continuing to support the mobile game after just this brief period, indicating a lack of engagement and interest from the Warzone player base.

In a statement shared on the Warzone Mobile X account, Activision writes that the game "has not met our expectations with mobile-first players," making it not worth the effort to continue developing and supporting it. As a result, Warzone Mobile will be shut down and removed from mobile storefronts on iOS and Android devices by Monday, May 19.

We deeply appreciate your dedication and passion for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

There Is an Old ‘Invincible’ Series You Probably Haven’t Seen Which Is Now Considered Lost
Image
Invincible is currently enjoying a lot of success. The gritty comic book series is currently airing its highly successful animated adaptation on Amazon. The third season ended just recently, as fans are getting ready for more episodes sooner rather than later.

And while most people know this one as the first proper adaptation of the original comic book, did you know that there is an older one? It’s not a series per se, but rather an old motion comic that cannot be viewed anywhere online (at least not legally), which is why it is considered a piece of “lost media” now.

What Are Netflix’s Most Popular Games? What Do They Tell Us About Their Changing Strategy?
Image
Pictures: AnnaPuna, Netflix, Ninja Kiwi, Rockstar Games

In November 2021, Netflix ventured into a brand-new medium—gaming. While it had previously experimented with game production and distribution, it had never launched games within its own ecosystem. Fast-forward nearly four years, and Netflix’s gaming library has expanded to over 100 mobile titles and more than a dozen on its cloud gaming platform. However, as we’ve been reporting, things are changing. So, where is Netflix Games headed next, and what does the data reveal?

Over the past six months, Netflix Games has made headlines, but not always for the right reasons. It all started with the closure of a major Aaa studio and then the news that they’re pushing into AI gaming (which went down like a plate of cold sick). Then, in December, Netflix removed over a dozen titles from its catalog. January brought more disappointing news as Netflix canceled several upcoming games,...

Laverne Cox Hopes ‘Clean Slate’s “Multidimensional” Representation Counters Anti-Trans “Media Propaganda”
Image
With a new wave of anti-lgbtq legislation coming out of the first days of 2025, Laverne Cox is well aware of the cultural significance of her new show.

In Clean Slate, Season 1 of which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the actress plays a proud trans woman named Desiree who returns home to her estranged father Harry (George Wallace) in Mobile, Alabama, after 17 years, telling Deadline they set the series in her actual hometown in attempt to “humanize Desiree” amid the ongoing battle for trans rights.

“I wanted it to just have that sort of authenticity, and I wanted to kind of have it be an exploration of what it means to come home, how difficult that is,” explained Cox. “I have such a difficult relationship with Mobile, honestly, to this day, and I thought that tension would be great. It’s my real life.”

‘Clean Slate’: A Trans Character Walks Into the Deep South…

The first episode of this new Prime Video comedy is preceded by a quote from its late, great executive producer, sitcom giant Norman Lear: “The laughter I’ve enjoyed most is laughter that has brought numbers of us together.”

This is both an admirable sentiment and an easy one for Lear to have had. In the 1970s, when issues-oriented Lear comedies like All in the Family, The Jeffersons, and Maude dominated both the ratings and critics’ lists, Lear was able to bring together Americans from all walks of life,...

TikTok still bodies other platforms when it comes to short-form watch time
Image
On Jan. 19, millions of users got a taste of what short-form video would be like without TikTok. Other platforms saw floods of new users and upticks in traffic–even platforms without a direct TikTok competitor, like Tumblr.

But do competitors like YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels actually have the oomph to pick up where TikTok would have left off?

Well, according to analytics firm Sensor Tower, they’re far behind TikTok when it comes to how much time they’re able to get users to spend actually scrolling through short-form content.

When users have TikTok’s app open, they’re spending 55% of their time watching short-form videos, Sensor Tower found in its State of Mobile report covering data from the past 12 months.

Compare that to Instagram, where users spend 37% of their time watching Reels, and YouTube, where viewers spend 26% of their time watching Shorts. On Facebook, it’s 21.5%, on X...

Mobile Suit Gundam Creator Addresses the Anime's Top Controversy: "Why Involve Children In War?"
Image
The iconic Mobile Suit Gundam series has sparked countless debates since its debut in 1979, but one question has been consistent above all and that is why the creator, Yoshiyuki Tomino, placed a child in the horrors of war. Recently, Tomino shed light on this controversial decision, linking his story choices to Japan's real and horrifying history. Speaking on a Japanese radio program, Tomino revealed how his creative vision for Amuro Ray was deeply influenced by real-world historical contexts, including the use of child soldiers during World War II.

Tomino's explanation of this decision is a great reminder that the Gundam series is more than just a sci-fi adventure. By anchoring his story in the uncomfortable realities of war, Tomino challenged audiences to consider the ethical implications of involving the young and innocent in global conflict. In doing so, he established Gundam as a groundbreaking work of animation that continues to provoke meaningful discussions decades later.

“I don’t like Miyazaki’s other works”: Gundam Creator Doesn’t Like His Forever Enemy Hayao Miyazaki’s Movies Except One
Image
The relationship between Hayao Miyazaki and Yoshiyuki Tomino has always been a fascinating story of rivalry, professional envy, and mutual respect. While they are both legendary filmmaker coming from the same era, their careers, and creative philosophies could not be more different. Miyazaki is celebrated for his universally beloved films like My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away, and Tomino’s Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam delves into the darker, grittier aspects of human nature and the horrors of war.

This dichotomy extends to their personal opinions about each other’s work, stating that he only likes Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron. Apart from these opinions, Tomino also considers Miyazaki an “enemy”, however, the reasons behind it are not simply envy or animosity.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 Leaks Hint Toward A Powerful Agent Being Free In The New Update
Image
As more information about Zenless Zone Zero's 1.4 update leaks out, it is looking more likely that a powerful new agent will be given away for free. HoYoverse's newest gacha game got off to a rough start but has rebounded nicely since a lackluster 1.1 update. This is largely due to the amazingly creative characters and fun combat, but also a resurgence in storytelling. Zenless may not be as widely known as the studio's other games, but it is no less successful.

Zenless has already had plenty of leaks about this highly anticipated update. The other noteworthy bit is the expected release of Section 6's fearless leader, Miyabi. Miyabi, and her first dual element in Zzz, are set up to be game-changing if accurate. She also opens the door for future characters to introduce new mechanics like this and raise the bar for what the game can create.

Japan box office dominated by local features in first half of 2024

Image
Black Ops Gulf War is reportedly the Call of Duty 2024 title that is currently under development at Treyarch and will be released later this year. Although there have been no announcements from Activision yet, Xbox head Phil Spencer has said that the game is likely coming in October.

Since the reports of Cod 2024, there have been several rumors and leaks about the game and what it would bring, and players are excited. A new report has now surfaced and suggests that Gulf War will be bringing back one feature that Modern Warfare 3 took from the fans.

Custom Reticles Will Return With Call of Duty 2024

The reticle customization feature is returning with Call of Duty 2024.

Activision Blizzard Have Listened to the Fans and Make Huge Call of Duty: Warzone Announcement
Image
Developers are finally doing something to make Call of Duty fans happy. Alongside the rumors of Zombies being a part of the next CoD game, players are going to see the return of a beloved map in Warzone Season 3. The news will be welcomed by most, as the game has been annoying fans for quite some time.

Developers have been adding a ton of content, focusing more on collaboration than gameplay. Unlike the original Modern Warfare series, the recent game in its reboot was a huge disappointment. The winds may have been in Activision’s favor for a long time, but the company doesn’t seem to have utilized the advantage to turn the tides in its favor.

Things Are Seemingly Getting Back on Track

Rebirth Island may be coming to Warzone Mobile.

Call of Duty has finally released the trailer for the latest season of Warzone on its official...

Many Thought Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Would Fix Contentious Aim Assist Issue, but This Definitely Proves Otherwise
Image
Call of Duty: Warzone is among the biggest battle royale games of all time. The live service entry of the beloved franchise has dipped its toes into the mobile division of gaming with Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on March 21 for Android and iOS.

Mobile gaming is quite a leap from traditional console or PC gaming, where physical controllers are required to play. While it is a feature available through the use of Bluetooth, on-screen controls are the most common way to play.

First-person shooters are difficult to play, and some players took the time and effort to adjust some settings to their liking.

The obvious problem would be the movement limitations as well as the aim; both were reliant on external controllers or the use of a mouse, and those two are not proprietary in this gaming format. Some players were able to get hands-on and shared footage of...

Who Are The Best Mecha Anime Protagonists?
Image
The mecha anime franchise ranges in tone and scope, featuring epic battles of over the top proportions as well as more somber affairs. This is reflected in the protagonists seen in these anime, some of whom have defined the genre and the industry as a whole. In fact, a few of them are some of the most iconic anime characters ever created.

With Super Robot anime, many of the heroes are pushed by virtuous energy and boundless enthusiasm that sees them through all of their problems. With Real Robot characters, however, they're usually far more complex in both their issues and their personalities. This makes those heroes and villains into the best parts of their respective shows.
