Very Good Documentary on the Gangster film genre

This is a very good documentary on the gangster film genre from the early days up until today. This documentary deals with movies such as Scarface (the original from 1932 & the remake from 1983), Goodfellas, etc & the actors who made the gangster genre such as Edward G. Robinson, James Cagney & Humpfrey Bogart.

This documentary explains the fascination that people have with gangsters & also the stories of real gangsters such as Al Capone, John Dillinger, Bonnie & Clyde, etc. Even real gangsters such as Henry Hill are interviewed.

This documentary shows how people love the gangsters even though they are evil.

Anecdotes
Featured in the documentary is the historic gangster film The Musketeers of Pig Alley (1912) produced by American Mutoscope & Biograph which is still in existence today. It was also one of the first gangster films ever made, and was an inspiration to filmmaker Martin Scorsese for his films such as Les affranchis (1990).
