Tisoy!

Tisoy is a film parody of Filipino films and the horrible traffic situation in Manila as a group of Jetset Manilenos tries as De Leon's chracter tries to find his father.

This is probably the hottest Charo Concio and Boyet De Leon looked. My god superstars ang datingan talaga. Also, a lot BIG BIG stars cameo.

I also do want to commend the support actors in this films. I think Bernal let it far too lose in some scenes but they kept it at bay. A lot of comedic giants in this films that will still be important in the 21st century, showing their greatness here.

In the end, this is a very good script, and very tight comedy that can actually withstood the test of time. It is like watching a Monty Python film - with a lot of call backs and in-jokes that really works well as you go along.

As noted, I still do have issues with Bernal's loose direction. It lefts much to be desired. He let's the frame a bit too still for a bit too long when the scene could have been shorter and tighter. The framing in some scenes is wackadoodle too.

Overall, this is far from perfect but I think this is leaps ahead of Salwahan, which has better direction and bigger potential but has an overall horrible story. I think people can enjoy this even for its age.
