When I was a little younger I really enjoyed this game. Now that all the new games look so realistic, this game looks like crap. Even though it may look like crap now, back when the N64 was popular this was a fun game and looked really cool. Therefore my review is based solely on the first few years it was around.
SO yes this was an all around fun game and very fun to play with friends. It had a Huge roster which was and still is unlike any roster on a wrestling game. You could also edit each character's costume and look which was always fun.
Since I don't really have much to say (except that it was great) I will end it here. Oh, and by the way now when I look back on this game I see wrestlers on he roster that I watch currently in wrestling such as Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Finlay, and Booker T.
WCW/NWO Revenge was an excellent game for probably the best era of wrassling.
At the time the graphics were the best despite it being like Minecraft graphics.
Gameplay was fun and easy.
Match modes there were plenty.
Characters there were so many.
Revenge was an exceptional game. I feel sorry for wrestling carnies who didn't get a chance to experience it during the best era of wrassling. Experiencing it today is not the same as experiencing it 20 years ago.
Overall, great memories. N64 was the mother of all consoles.
Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!
Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Nintendo 64 System! The backgrounds are really beautiful!
Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!
Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!
Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!
Overall: I have always loved WCW/NWO Revenge! If you like wrestling and sports games then I strongly recommend you play this game!

The game truly was THQ last video game with World Championship Wrestling but the game went out and became a classic from the day it went on sale.
THQ later got the rights to make games for the World Wrestling Federation and EA got the rights to World Championship Wrestling.
However the game truly deserve a hall of fame because it just one of the main reasons that every gamer should own a Nintendo 64 Video Game System
The Game Graphics are so amazing that the arenas and Wrestlers look like they do when you watch a WCW TV Show or on Pay Per View.
The Sound is very strong with grunts and fan reaction that make it feel like you are in a real WCW Show.
The Controls are easy to handle and the game just gets better as you play it
The Gameplay is just so good that you will alway come back for more
The Game has all of your favorite WCW/NWO Wrestlers guys like Diamond Dallas Page, Goldberg, Sting, Booker T, Macho Man Randy Savage, Raven and others
So if you never play this game you need to because this is a classic
I give WCW/NWO Revenge A Perfect 10 out of 10

- AnecdotesMost of the "fictitious" wrestlers in this game from EWF and DAW are actually based on real non-WCW wrestlers, mostly from Japan. For instance, AKI/THQ Man is actually Mitsuharu Misawa, Jekel is Dr. Death Steve Williams, and Hon Zo Mon is Hayabusa. The names and appearances were changed so that WCW wouldn't have to pay the individuals or the wrestling promotions they belonged to.
