The Manhole Masterpiece Edition

The CD case describes it as "A Whimsical World for Children of all Ages". Since the company and two of the main characters from Myst direct and write this game, you can expect some thinking games. Obviously this is much much easier than the Myst series, but I have not met many who liked this game as a kid. To be honest, I don't remember it very clearly, only that is required something more than linear thinking with many puzzles. As a young boy, my younger brother and I found this very amusing and challenging to play as our father played Myst (on a Apple Macintosh no less, heh). I highly recommend this and another game along a similar vein, Spelunx, to anyone who has a child. As I look back on it, all of those games help you broaden your logic skills and patience in though, and it would be a great learning tool for anyone. I highly recommend this as an alternative, or at least in addition, to the mostly mindless video and computer games of modern day.
