don't know why ....a 6.1 rating to this movie..happened to be the best classic thriller Indian movie made in malayalam which was then later taken in 4 regional languages ....mammootty as everyone know best for his stiff and style roles made this one his best...the movie been inspired from a foreign language film ..only loosely connected is a movie which will remembered like any other classics....iam sure it will be remade in malayalam in the near future....the movie has its quality beyond time....as it is a commercial classic i call...mammotty..the legendary actor with his mesmerizing performance..the view of newdelhi..joshi..excellent direction.....exceedingly brilliant story and screenplay...by Dennis Joseph...hats off to everyone

Lol it's kindoff funny how Mohanlals mindless fans think they can give negative rating to a classic superhit movie and assume that people will blindly believe it .. instead of doing negative PR work for mammotty try to do some positive work for your lord lal , he's been making bombs for consecutive years 🔥🔥

And guys this is a 80s classic not for the 2k fundas. You guys keep nibbling on your neeralis teets and call it a day .

In short watch it if you really don't mind the old generation movie style , because it's not at all like nowadays.

And if you are willing to spend so much time doing PR work , it's better to just chill out for a bit.

Many of these old Malayalam films have such a bad dialogues that it's almost impossible to appreciate the cinematography and the plot and bad dialogues automatically produces bad acting if not from the part of actors. It baffles me that these same people have made some amazing films without any said problems but both the kind of films are considered as classics. Mammotty's career defining film, that's the reason I decided to rewatch this one but I shouldn't have. At least they didn't include any useless songs but on second thought this film could have used a song or two.
