1st watched 5/7/2005 - 3 out of 10(Dir-Penelope Buitenhuis): Disguised as a sex flick, this thriller goes to ridiculous proportions with it's main psycho character as he goes on a killing spree with those who have contact with the main female character, Allison. I won't give away too much of the rest of the plot for those who attempt to watch this, but basically the murderer isn't himself. Who is he then, you ask? He's another person, of course(OK, I think I've already said too much). But anyway back to the review. The acting and writing is subpar in this movie, which is a good reason that it will stay on the "B" movie shelf at your local video outlet for as long as it lives there. Avoid it unless you just have to watch Andrea Roth, who plays Allison take a few showers and have rough sex a couple of times.
No pun intended - and can be used for more than one instance. I am just going to name one, so as to not give away something about the movie. Which I think is quite apparent to anyone who will watch this, but let's focus on the one thing I will say: the main actress is using a body double! And she has every right to do so - it just feels weird that the camera cuts "away" every time we see her breast area. So when you see that area exposed, you never see her face with it - in the frame that is.
Which makes it quite obvious that she is using a body double. Which is kinda funny considereing that she sometimes has clothes on, that do reveal something anyway (piercing through, no pun intended). But enough about optics - although as you will testify yourself, it is very much about those ... but different. And we are back to my summary line.
The movie does not hold too many surprised for you - but it is quite nicely and decently told. There could be more steamy stuff for some folk I reckon, but it still works as a thriller as it is ... while being entirely predictable of course ...

Poorly written, poorly plotted, poorly acted, poorly filmed. As a matter of fact, one of the few redeeming qualities was the quality of the body-double (though the transition from actress's face to the body-double was also poorly done). I felt like I was watching some sort of corporate training video: same overall quality...same overall message.
This film shows just how stalking affects people. It's an important film to watch as it points out evident flaws in the legal system when it comes to stalking as a crime. The way police force's view stalking can be intimidating for the victim. It also shows that once again it can all be put down to a mental health issue. Not all cases of stalking are that simple. It also shows that money can buy most people out of any situations, along with the fact as long as people aren't "hurt" there isn't a crime. It's a crock of sh*t.
I was indifferent to the film, but was a little annoyed about the fact that Eric Szmanda isn't listed in the cast.

I knew this film was going to be lame from the time i saw ian tracey was in it ... the diminutive fake tough guy with the earring ... the rest of the film became a big laugh after that ... i'd sooner take a nap than watch such drivel
