ZWEI TAGE GRAU [Two Gray Days] is an extremely bizarre German short film about five men who live in a futuristic, apocalyptic society where a chain of space-age burger joints rule the nation. Our quintet of heros are trying to compete by working for an eatery owned by an attractive blonde, only to have it bulldozed by the cruel and relentless BURGERZONE. This is an interesting story that was well-filmed, and the sets and music are excellent. However, the plot was a bit hard to follow (probably due to it being in German) and the film's attempts at humor usually fall flat. All in all, though, this is a very creative piece of work that should be viewed by fans of foreign indie films.
