The Doll's Revenge

Their father brings Gertie Potter, a doll that can dance. Her brother, Bertie Potter, steals it, and then tears it apart. But the doll comes to life and takes its revenge.

It's a well done trick film, making use of filmed inserts -- which had to be done in the camera -- and some nice stop motion. Bertie looks a little too old for his Lord Fauntleroy outfit, but I doubt contemporary audiences minded.
