Another rip of a Malayalam Movie

I have only seen this movie recently, and within the first 10 Minutes came to know it was a frame by frame copy of a Malayalam movie Chitram by Priyadarshan, and Chitram was one of his biggest Malayalam HIT. The Screenplay BG music was the same as Malayalam, but Mithun failed to justify Mohanlal's acting and over all apart from Anupam Kerr the remaining cast were just average and the music was no different. This would have been much better if Priyan himself directed this movie, some times it takes a good director to bring out the character on an actor. If you have 2 hours to waste then watch this movie or if you have the patiance then watch the original with subtitles

Dashing Mithun and Sexy Gautami made a good pair.

Pyar Hua Chori Chori review :

A romcom starring Mithun da with the sexy Gautami making her Hindi debut. The plot involving a commoner made to impersonate as a rich heiress husband seems heavily inspired from Naukar Biwi Ka (1983) as well as Manchali (1973).

Dashing Mithun and the lovely Gautami looked good together and were paired later in Salim Akhtar's Aadmi (1993) which was a super hit.

The title song by Laxmikant Pyarelal went up the charts then but the film didnt last long at the box office and was declared a flop. Infact, it came and went so suddenly that I missed watching it in theatres. Finally, caught it today and didnt find it that bad. Was fairly decent for its time.
