Young at Heart

This is a funny program that is a joy to watch. A married couple who are recently retired and live in a typical working class northern town similar to Coronation street. It shows them filling their days with a slightly old fashioned but caring attitude. Being on a modest pension they have to be careful with the money but still manage to enjoy themselves and love one another even if they sometimes find their partner a bit irritating.

If you want to watch a charming television programme with likeable characters this is a fine watch and Sir John Mills is excellent at a comedy actor which is something I've never seen him do before.
