One of over 700 Paramount productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Boston Monday 20 October 1958 on WBZ (Channel 4); it first aired in Denver Saturday 12 September 1959 on KBTV (Channel 9); however, due to unforeseen legal complications, it may have been eventually withdrawn from the original film package in the 1959-1960 era.
