My Stretch of Texas Ground

This movie is horrid trash. Don't waste your money streaming it. You have been warned.

On the surface, My Stretch of Texas Ground is an action-packed thriller about an Islamic warrior from North Africa who comes to the US on a terrible mission. Underneath, however, the film tells two very human stories. We meet the righteous and patriotic sheriff, also a loving father, whose life gets turned upside down when his hometown becomes the target of a terrorist attack. But we also get a glimpse at the very human emotions that are behind the Islamic warrior coming here to commit the terrorist act which settles on the sheriff's small Texas town.

In today's political climate we need films which shed light on multiple facets of international, and national terrorism. Every terrorist act, as terrible it might be, has it's origin in a human story. We need to understand this in order to make a difference. My Stretch of Texas Ground contributes to that subject with a well written independent film; well acted, well directed, and superbly executed! Highly recommended.

The dialog sucks and the acting is no better. I have not one thing positive to say about this movie. Some scenes are like fingernails on a chalkboard,

I'm sorry to say I wasted $4.00 to watch this piece of crap! I'm guessing the Mabid film festival is all about garbage movies.

Good acting and good script. Fun movie to watch with the family.
