Operation Alamelamma

The movie is good and fun to watch. Has A twist in the end which i liked. I felt editing could have been tighter. I felt it little dragged.

This is a comedy-crime-mystery movie which is quite fun to watch. The lead, Rishi, carries the movie on his shoulders and it is refreshing to watch his antics. I am pretty impressed by him in the two movies i have watched, the other being Kavaludaari, where his role is an utter contrast. He is well supported by the other actors. The comic line is tightly woven into the script and does not jar the narration. The movie unfolds with present day police investigation into a kidnapping while the hero's story unravels in the flashbacks. The director has woven them together nicely in the end.

The movie does have its faults though. Don't go in expecting an investigative crime thriller. The investigation process is very inept and there are gaping holes.

Go to watch a clean, fun entertainer and you will not be disappointed. As a mainstream movie, this is a refreshing watch. Highly recommended for a Sunday screening with family!

At 2 hours 15 minutes, this film on a wrongly accused guy on a kidnapping is a fun ride. There wasn't any instance where the film dragged the screenplay nor was it any time boring. There was just one song except for the end credits song. The acting is appreciable. The story/ screenplay isn't that great or a perfect of a thriller and has it's flaws but certain moments were fun. It is definitely a worth watch.

Editing is very sloppy and the pacing is slow. Majority of the runtime is focused on the love story instead of the kidnapping. It could have been a better movie if they focused more on the main plot of the movie which is kidnapping. The love story is lame and boring.

I had huge expectations on this movie being an entertainer from the initial teaser launch. Simple Suni has nailed this movie to perfection. His screenplay and writing has been strong enough to uphold this movie with a limited resources. Rishi, Shraddha and other casts have done justice to their role as required. The background score along with comedy and suspense make this thriller movie more enjoyable. There are not much songs but are played apt to the requirement and music is good. One can see the creative cinematography used during the fight scenes and close up shots.To this day I could see people thronging into theaters to watch this movie multiple times and I saw it twice. Rating 10 out of 10 as the movie is a clean entertainer.
