Sova över

One of seductive short films for the delicate poetry of cinematography, performance, wise use of silence and precise use of details. A film about ...penguins talk, friendship, a night, the thought of the morning and the inspired portrait of a subtle transformation sign.

This was about as pointless a film as is possible to get. Two guys chat about nothing, look at each other speculatively, eat breakfast, sleep on the same bed under different duvets.

Why have I given two stars? Well there was a small bit of inspiration. When the rain started and the filming showed its shadows dripping down the window, projected onto the two lads. That was original and a good piece of cinematography.

Apart from this, I'm at a loss to see why anyone would find this relevant or interesting. It's totally inconsequential and I'm glad it only lasted eight minutes. I'd be spitting penguin feathers, a theme of the conversation, if I'd wasted any longer on this.
