Not captivated enough

No More Lights in the Sky is a mockumentary thriller written and directed by Danny Cotton which focuses on a group of talking heads talking about the future and the resistance against the corrupt political party. This is a very interesting concept however the execution was not done with justice. It's such a shame with lack of technical knowledge that this film looks how it is: shoddy, amateur and low quality and not in a good way. The lead actor or character seems to be boring in quite a lot of ways and no one is captivating enough to keep us engaged in the story. The last 20 minutes is abysmal.

Incredibly shot and Directed - True Story telling

The Director does an incredible job of showing how great writing and fantastic acting can hold your attention in one long shot. Some of the scenes remind me of Spielberg in that the camera and actors dance with each other for the entire scene. This is a testimony to the director and camera crew, the producers and the cast. A brilliant story that I hope will be a book some day, Danny Cotton and the team are ones to watch in the UK Movie Industry.

A rip-off to cinema and anyone who respects it

I watched this through someone's commentary on youtube and it's just a joke. I'm so glad I never had to pay to watch it but unfortunately other people did. Completely boring on every category - the acting, the camerawork (which they make the excuse is poor on the counts that this is a mockumentary) the flow of it all isn't natural or authentic to a thriller film.

Actors really need to be natural as this clearly isn't the case. Is black and white the thing in the future by the way? Feels a little pretentious to add b/w, you're not Spielberg making a holocaust movie. Not impressed by this film in the slightest and anyone who's defending it is clearly a friend of the director's or producers.
