Where Are They Now?

Jessica Rabbit narrates while eating Couch Potato Chips and Gorging on fried chicken. She has put on about 400 pounds. Roger sits in a chair, in a catatonic state, watching TV. She relates the horrors that happened to cartoon characters after the 80's. They have fallen on the worst of times, doing menial jobs and living sad and depressed lives. Steve Cutts puts out the most forlorn works, but he does them well.

An absolutely wonderful satire of classic cartoon characters from decades past. The main character and narrator of this animated short is Jessica Rabbit-now significantly overweight and mostly preoccupied with eating and complaining about her husband, Roger, who's lost interest in everything except beer and television.

The film features dozens of familiar cartoon characters-especially recognizable to older generations-all grappling with the inevitable consequences of aging and fading relevance. Many, like Garfield, are morbidly overweight and nostalgic for the days when they were beloved icons and household names.

If you grew up in the 40-80's you will recognize a ton of cartoon character, now aging and out of work, forgotten and living on the fringes of society. The voice of Jessica Rabbit was hilarious, but it does make you think about how quick we are in society to just forget things we once loved and move on without bothering to look back. :( He-Man seem to make out Ok. LOL ;D.

I like the idea of this, but the execution is lacking. I got bored halfway through.

Needs to be trimmed down.
