So it probaby didn't get the budget, advertising, or theater release it deserved. It's actually quite good. Beautiful sky at the very end. And stick around during the end credits... some fun stuff in there.

I thought Singleholic was great. This movie had me dying laughing at times. The beautiful shots of Mauritius created a nice juxtaposition to the internal chaos Sarah was going through. Charlie AKA King Arthur was insane in the best way. It felt like that character was perfectly baked. Adrian Martinez who plays him really nailed the creepy charm his character has. Tyson Beckford's character was ridiculous in the best way and felt like so many people you would meet overseas. There was a clever exploration of escapism while keeping it grounded by not making the island feel too otherworldly. The chemistry between a few characters felt great, those like Sarah and Charlie. I would definitely watch again!

As a guy, I'm not into rom-coms, but my girlfriend got me to watch this movie and we couldn't stop laughing. We enjoyed it so much that we watched it twice! It was nuanced and quite realistic. In addition, it does a good job of making a multicultural cast look good without resorting to absurd stereopyical behavior for the men and women to act. The acting was good, the scenery of Mauritius is stunning and the ending was definitely a surprise because you don't expect it from your typical rom coms from Hollywood.

Hollywood should make more of these types of movies for that demographic because there arent enough quality movies being made in that genre.

Def worth a watch!

This was the worst movie I have watched, in bits and pieces of course in a very long time. The main character, a whole Phd student and for heavens sake, a lecture was just super annoying. This scene of ugly drunken public drama is so outdated. And the love boy, her groove, why was he in the movie by the way? And the gymn guy, Manny...really?? Let me not get started with her best friend, Georgina. The adult jokes, and other expected normal conversations were abhorrent. And the injustice to Mauritius one of the best tour destination is just unbelievable. This movie was like a low budget remake of 'Not Another Teen Movie".

What's with Tryson accent? Couldn't they find someone with a real African accent?😡 we are tired of fake African accent!

Who wrote this script? What was the person thinking! The fact dimwit thought we would enjoy this trash is so sad! Horrible and Hideous make up and wig. Dry jokes! How did this actors pass through the auditions? How?

Netflix needs to stop taking all kind of movies! I'm trying understand why you think we would like this empty head storyline. Netflix needs to do better! I'm so irritated that I wasted my time for this trash.... Some actors are just terrible! Adult actors would have done better.
