Fear the Walking Dead Complete Series Blu-ray Announced
Image
Following the end of its run on television, Fear the Walking Dead will soon be released on a new Blu-ray set containing every episode of the series. The bundle will be dropping in October, just in time for this year's Halloween.

Per Lionsgate, Fear the Walking Dead: The Complete Collection will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Oct. 15, 2024. The set has a suggested retail price of $119.99 for the Blu-ray and Digital set, while the DVD is a bit cheaper at $94.98. The show ended its eight-season run on AMC in November 2023, currently serving as the longest-running Walking Dead spinoff so far. Fear the Walking Dead first premiered on AMC in 2015, still fairly early into the run of its parent series.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 8B Trailer Takeaways
Image
Madison Clark to Fear the Walking Dead, hoping to bring together an unlikely group of survivors. Victor Strand Madison Clark's bond continues to show the importance of growth while facing a looming threat. Fear the Walking Dead teases many answers to mysteries that include the fate of characters like Alicia.

There was a time in Fear the Walking Dead when it seemed outrageous to assume Season 1 Og characters would ever cross paths again. Even when Victor Strand, Alicia Clark, and Daniel Salazar were on the same screen together in Season 7, their petty feuds prevented them from being the dream team they were meant to be. Alicia may be gone now, but Madison is back to bring the original survivors (plus the newer ones) together against a common enemy.

Now that Shrike is dead and Padre is under new leadership, Madison has plenty of work to do to redeem herself from her past mistakes.

Daryl Dixon Has Already Overused 1 Story Trope After Only 2 Episodes
Image
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Daryl Dixon: Episode 2

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon spinoff is already relying on a convenient trope of French characters speaking English to move the story forward. The show explains away Daryl's lack of French language skills by attributing it to various factors like Maribelle's switch to fluent English and Isabelle's parents' extensive traveling. This language problem is expected to worsen as the show progresses, and the phrase "You speak English?" may become a common line on the show.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is centralized to a new, overseas location for The Walking Dead franchise, but after only two episodes, it has already overused a convenient trope. The Walking Dead has numerous tropes, like the "Don't Open, Dead Inside" sign in the main show, Daryl Dixon, and The Walking Dead: Dead City. However, Daryl Dixon's new locale in France and his separation from beloved...

Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Trailer: Look Who's Back!
Colman Domingo
The world as our favorite characters knows it is over.

That might seem like a strange observation when you consider the fact they've spent years fighting for survival in a zombie apocalypse, but now they have a new world to endure, one that is filled with radiation and new perils.

One of those perils appears to be good old Victor Strand (Colman Domingo).

While the freshly released Comic-Con clips for Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 spends a lot of time on the events of the nuclear blast, it does begin to paint a picture of what we can expect when the series returns later this year.

The characters have been haunted by the sins of the past for so long that there's no telling how far they will be pushed to survive.

Strand seemingly embraced the darkness at the close of Fear The Walking Dead Season 6, but will we get...

Fear the Walking Dead Exclusive Clip: Does Morgan Blame June for the Loss of His Child?
Kim Dickens and Lennie James in Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
June is no longer welcome at Morgan's compound.

That much is evident after watching the first few minutes of Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 13, which we're able to share with you exclusively.

We get to see June arriving at the compound, only to be stopped at the gate by Morgan, who wonders whether his and Grace's child would have survived had they not had to travel to June.

That allows June to confirm that it wouldn't have helped because the child had already died.

Morgan reveals that Grace will not speak to anyone and is holed up in the old church. Understandably, she's suffering, and it will probably be sometime before she can confront the insurmountable loss.

But, for now, June is kicked out of the compound and no longer welcome, no matter how much she tells Morgan that a doctor should look over grace.

Ultimately, June exits the compound after Morgan persists,...

Fear the Walking Dead Recap: What Happened to the Old Salazar?
No still-living character has been worse served by Fear the Walking Dead's makeover than Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades). Since Salazar returned in Season 5 after sitting out Season 4, he is unrecognizable as the character he was in the first three seasons -- just like the show is unrecognizable. The

TV Review: Fear the Walking Dead - Season 5, Episode 4
Season 5, Episode 4: Skidmark Plot: Strand continues trying to "borrow" Daniel's plane while others deal with a group of forest-dwelling children. Review: If you're a fan of the character Daniel Salazar (who is played by Ruben Blades) and/or of cats, this was a special episode of Fear the Walking Dead, as Daniel and his cat Skidmark both get a good amount of screen time.…...

Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 2 Review: The Hurt That Will Happen
A fateful reunion energizes an otherwise uneventful episode of Fear the Walking Dead.

This Fear the Walking Dead review contains spoilers.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 2

Fear the Walking Dead follows up its promising season 5 premiere with another busy episode. But unlike the more ambitious “Here to Help,” “The Hurt That Will Happen” is short on action (not necessarily a bad thing) and long on questionable character motivations (which can be a bad thing). But more on that in a bit.

In the meantime, as much as I tried to remain invested in this episode, at times I found my mind wandering—specifically when Alicia single-handedly faced down a possibly irradiate group of walkers. It occurred to me that Alicia and Morgan are almost too proficient at dispatching the dead. Their ruthless efficiency essentially mitigates the zombie threat if walkers can be taken out with a...

Fear the Walking Dead Season 5: Showrunners Tease a New Universe of Possibilities
Joseph Baxter Apr 8, 2019

Fear the Walking Dead is gearing up for a summer Season 5 return, with a potentially game-changing concept for the Dead TV universe.

Fear the Walking Dead premieres its fifth season in June, arriving after the landscape of its mothership series, The Walking Dead, was significantly altered – not only because of the exits of main cast members, but a six-year time jump. Consequently, spinoff series Fear – which started as a prequel, and, at one point, jumped ahead – is now back to being a prequel. However, that is not to say that Fear won’t be bringing new concepts to the shared-universe series. Indeed, the showrunners are – with typical ambiguity – teasing a game-changer.

At a Fear the Walking Dead talk during a panel discussion at the AMC Networks Summit 2019 (where crucial details about an upcoming third series was confirmed), co-showrunner Ian Goldberg and the franchise overseer, chief content officer Scott M. Gimple,...

Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer: Hello, Dwight!
AMC's summer programming will heat up with the return of Fear the Walking Dead on Sunday, June 2 at 9/8c.

The official trailer for Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 dropped on Sunday during the show's WonderCon panel, and it was filled with surprises.

Two of those big surprises revolve around appearances of characters we've met before:

Daniel Salazar who has cheated death on more than one occasion at this stage returns and wastes no time in breaking the ice between him and Strand.

Then there's Dwight from The Walking Dead. If you watch The Walking Dead online, you know that Daryl ousted the reformed savior and allowed him to make an escape.

However, Daryl warned that he would kill him if he ever laid eyes on him again. It looks like Dwight skipped several states with the aim of steering clear of his frenemy.

‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Season 5 Trailer Sees the Return of Some Familiar Faces
AMC has released the first trailer for Fear the Walking Dead season 5, which shuffles its way on to AMC on June 2. It's a lengthy trailer with some legitimate reveals, but boiled down the gist seems to be that doing genuinely kind and good things in the zombie apocalypse will most likely get you killed. Sound advice! But no, the trailer also reveals the return of two familiar faces. First, Rubén Blades' Daniel Salazar, not seen since the dam explosion that closed out season 3's finale, "Sleigh Ride." And then there's Austin Amelio's Dwight …...

Familiar Faces Return In First Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer
The Walking Dead season 9 might be ending tonight, but the good news is that Twd fans won’t be forced to wait all summer before there’s more post-apocalyptic goodness on their screens. Fear the Walking Dead is set to return for its fifth season in early June and the first trailer for the new run is now here to give us a taste of what awaits us when the spinoff series makes a comeback.

Going by what we see above, season 5 will pick up soon after the last season left off. Morgan Jones, who joined the show from Twd, is now very much the head of the group and is leading them on an altruistic mission of helping out those who are in need or lost. Lennie James’ character might have others’ best interests at heart, but it’s a hash world out there and Morgan and co. will...

Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 8 Review: No One's Gone
The Clark family is dropping like flies.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 8  was without a doubt the most confusing, but ultimately, the most satisfying episode this season. With an incredible amount of answers to quite a few lingering questions were finally answered.

Some serious credit must be given to the writers. This episode definitely kept me on my toes and continuously guessing -- and second-guessing -- what was to come.

When Madison found Althea and ended up providing her story, the entire time we were led to believe that their interaction had taken place following the fall of the stadium.

That was nowhere near the case, as Madison meeting Althea took place following the collapse of the dam on Fear the Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 16.

While the excessive time jumps back and forth was a bit much at times, in hindsight, it was a clever way to utilize to...

'Fear the Walking Dead' Star Opens Up About Stunning Departure
Kim Dickens and Lennie James in Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
[This story contains spoilers for the season 4A finale of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead, "No One's Gone."]

In the midseason two finale, ferocious Fear the Walking Dead survivor Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades) appeared to die in a literal blaze of glory, only to reemerge half a season later. Will Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) follow suit, following a similar exit from the show: apparently burned to death, surrounded by walkers?

According to the star herself, viewers are not advised to hold their breath.

"It's so sad," Kim Dickens said during The Talking Dead, following ...
