Kevin Hart and MotorTrend have moved the second season of “Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew” to The Roku Channel.

The unscripted series first debuted in 2021 on MotorTrend+ and MotorTrend TV. “Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew” follows Hart and his friends, the “Plastic Cup Boyz,” as they dive into America’s evolving car culture. Throughout the first season, the group of friends began as just mere car enthusiasts and slowly turned into a legitimate car club.

Kevin Hart and his famed comedy crew The Plastic Cup Boyz will star in Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew, the MotorTrend Group announced today.

With production already underway, the eight-episode, original automotive series looks to launch this fall exclusively on the MotorTrend App, the leading subscription service dedicated specifically to the world of motoring.

A film which epitomises Hart’s career at the moment as an average simplistic venture into comedy that offers very little in the wake of either originality or personality, yet the recipient of financial success with such a weak time for the genre available for audiences to indulge and celebrate.

Night School is as straightforward and inconsequential, both contextually and conceptually, as one can imagine for such a venture. It is a grab and run sort of operation at the core of production. A cash grab if you will.

Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart’s upcoming comedy is studying up for an A+ opening.

Haddish and Hart’s “Night School” is heading for a debut around $25 million in the Sept. 28-30 weekend, early tracking showed Thursday. Warner Bros.’ animated “Smallfoot” is eyeing similar numbers in its opening that same weekend.

Universal’s “Night School” is the first lead role for Haddish since she broke out in “Girls Trip” last year. She plays a no-nonsense teacher heading adult instruction at a high school with Hart as a particularly hapless student, told at one point that he is “clinically dumb.”

Tracking for “Night School” ranges from $21 million to $34 million. The film is directed by Malcolm D. Lee, who directed Haddish in “Girls Trip,” which opened to $31.2 million on July 21-23, 2017, its way to $115 million domestically. Hart produces via his Hartbeat Productions banner and Will Packer is producing for his Will Packer Productions.

Kevin Hart is meeting his match — and then some — with Tiffany Haddish in the first trailer for Universal’s comedy “Night School.”

Hart’s character is forced to enroll in high school to get his Ged after he causes an explosion at his business. Haddish is his no-nonsense night school teacher, who explains that she’s taken the gig so she can “make a little cash so that I can afford this warrant I got.”

Hart struggles with the material and Haddish, after attempting to help him, tells him flatly, “You are clinically dumb.”

The trailer also features Taran Killam as a principal with a tendency to “talk black” and then deny that he’s done so, and Ben Schwartz, an investment adviser and Hart’s friend, who wants to give his friend a job but can’t until he passes his Ged. Mary Lynn Rajskub, Rob Riggle and Yvonne Orji also star.

Universal’s upcoming action-comedy Night School has found its heart.

That’s Kevin Hart, star of Central Intelligence and the Ride Along series, who has entered negotiations to co-write, produce and headline the pic as an imbecile forced to return to the unforgiving world of education to attain his Ged exam. Think Billy Madison with a modern twist and you’ll begin to get a sense of what Universal has in store.

To date, the project has attracted Tim Story (Ride Along) to direct, with Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Kellard and Hart himself all poised to leverage script duties between them. THR’s report also credits Nick Stoller as one of the screenwriters who’s enrolled in Night School.

As for the elevator pitch, we understand Tim Story’s romp follows “a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the long-shot chance they’ll pass the Ged exam.

The actor has signed on to the Universal Pictures comedy, with Tim Story, who previously directed Hart in the studio's Ride Along series, in negotiations to helm. The studios has set a Sept. 28, 2018 release date for the film.

Kevin Hart and LeBron James are to appear in an upcoming basketball-themed comedy.

Ballers will star Hart as a man trying to emerge from the shadow of his successful basketball player brother at a weekend fantasy camp, reports Deadline.

Hart is slated to pen the screenplay for Ballers with collaborators Joey Wells (Bet's Comicview), Chris Spencer (Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza) and Harry Ratchford (Laugh at My Pain).

A director will be hired once the first draft of the script is complete, with an eye to begin shooting the movie next summer. Brian Grazer will be a producer on the project.

This will be James's first starring film role, although he has previously acted on Saturday Night Live and Entourage.

James is currently producing a new comedy series for Starz.

Hart has been featured in two high-profile films this year, the apocalyptic comedy This Is The End and the stand-up movie Let Me Explain.
