It sounds like fans are going to be waiting even longer than originally expected for The Gentlemen season 2. Netflix just shared a major update about the latest season of The Gentlemen from creator Guy Ritchie.

During Netflix's Q2 earnings call, it was revealed that The Gentlemen season 2 is coming to Netflix sometime in 2026. Ted Sarandos rattled off a list of shows coming back in 2026, including Avatar: The Last Airbender, 3 Body Problem, Outer Banks, One Piece, and many more.

The feature directorial debut from Aziz Ansari has finally been revealed, and it looks heavenly. Seemingly a riff on Wings of Desire, Good Fortune follows an angel Gabriel (played by a winged Keanu Reeves), who is looking for more meaning in his work. He finds Arj, played by Ansari, who is a lost soul, peeing in bottles while working for a thinly veiled Amazon-like company. The film, which also stars Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh, and Keke Palmer, hits theaters on Oct. 17.

Ahead of the streamer's Tudum event, Netflix has confirmed that Guy Ritchie and the rest of the crew have returned to film the second season of the hit action comedy series. The show first premiered on the platform in early 2024 as a spin-off to the acclaimed 2020 film of the same name, The Gentlemen.

On Wednesday, Netflix released a video straight from the production of The Gentlemen Season 2 featuring series stars Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, as well as Ritchie himself. In true Gentlemen fashion, the unlikely crime duo are seen walking onto set and grabbing shotguns, ready for whatever is coming next in the highly-anticipated second season. The streamer announced the production update with a behind-the-scenes first look at the new season, which sees lead stars Theo James and Kaya Scodelario getting into character and walking to set, while Guy Ritchie — who is back in the director's chair for at least one episode — counts them down from five.
